Step-by-Step Guide: How to Experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
It's been reported that Tiana has already sent out the invitations for her upcoming Mardi Gras bash! While Tiana and her friend Louis are busy putting the final touches on the party down in the bayou, the guests must be wondering about what to wear, what to bring, and how to prepare for an exciting musical adventure that ends with a 50-foot drop right before the grand celebration.
But there's no need to worry because we've got all the details guests need to know before embarking on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure when it opens on June 28 at Walt Disney World.
Tips for Experiencing Tiana’s Bayou Adventure:
- Join the virtual queue...
When Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens on June 28, a virtual queue will be in place. Guests can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app at 7 a.m. or 1 p.m. Although a standby queue won't be available during the initial opening days, it is expected to open shortly after the attraction's debut. - ...or purchase Disney Genie+ service. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will also be accessible through the Lightning Lane entrance as part of the Disney Genie+ service*. By purchasing this service on the My Disney Experience app, guests can enjoy quicker access to some of their favorite attractions and receive digital downloads of select Disney PhotoPass attraction photos taken in the park on the day of purchase. Guests can check the app on the day of their visit for pricing and availability.

Get ready for a photo op!
No party is complete without pictures. As guests journey through the bayou to reach Tiana’s party, Disney PhotoPass Service will provide a special photo opportunity when they're almost there.
If you wish to download this attraction photo and your other magical moments, you can opt for Memory Maker – an all-inclusive photo package that allows guests to download all of their Disney PhotoPass photos taken during their vacation.
Be prepared to get wet!
When guests drop in to Tiana’s party, there's a good chance that some riders may get wet. While most guests will enjoy the refreshing cool down, others may want to bring their rain gear. No gear? No problem. There are plenty of places to find a poncho in Magic Kingdom.

- Check out the new attraction merchandise.
After experiencing the new attraction, guests will likely want to bring a piece of the bayou home with them. Starting June 28, guests can find the collections for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and “The Princess and the Frog”-inspired merchandise at the Emporium at Magic Kingdom. Shortly after the attraction debuts, the merchandise will be available at Critter Co-Op in Frontierland. - Indulge in Tiana’s Famous Beignets!
A trip to the bayou isn't complete without some good eats and sweet treats. Among the food and beverage offerings we look forward to sharing soon will be Tiana’s Famous Beignets, of course. Starting on opening day, Golden Oak Outpost and The Friar’s Nook will be serving up these light, sweet, and fluffy beignets drizzled with honey and powdered sugar. These will be available for a limited time only, so let the good times roll!
