Universal Orlando Summer 2026: Movie Magic, Minions, and More

Summer just got a whole lot more cinematic. From May 23 through August 10, Universal Orlando Resort is rolling out a blockbuster lineup of limited-time experiences built around the films and stories guests know and love. Think character meet-and-greets, exclusive merchandise, interactive activations, and crave-worthy new menu items -- all layered on top of the destination's already-legendary attractions and seasonal entertainment.


All-new movie-inspired experiences

This summer introduces a fresh slate of film-themed fun that is only available for the season:

  • Spielberg Summer Blockbusters featuring "Disclosure Day" (Universal Studios Florida): Explore props and behind-the-scenes stories celebrating Steven Spielberg's most iconic films, including the upcoming Universal Pictures release "Disclosure Day," hitting theaters June 12.
  • Jaws-inspired experiences (Universal Studios Florida): Celebrate the blockbuster classic with interactive photo ops at the Amity Billboard and Boat House, specialty bites and drinks, and a parks-exclusive merchandise collection featuring limited-release apparel and accessories.
  • Illumination's Minions and Monsters (Universal Studios Florida): Get a sneak peek at the highly anticipated film with photo ops featuring new characters Henry and James, themed menu items like Irene's Creamsicle Cheesecake Fold Over and Monster Marshmallow Lemonade, plus exclusive collectibles like blind box figures and a Goomi shoulder pal.
  • Summer Movie Series (Universal CityWalk): On select dates from June 20 through August 26, catch screenings of beloved classics at Universal Cinemark including "Back to the Future," "Jaws," "The Mummy," and "E.T. -- The Extra-Terrestrial" (movie ticket required).

  • Universal Mega Movie Parade (Universal Studios Florida): A jaw-dropping parade featuring more than a dozen floats, nearly 100 performers, and special effects built around beloved films like E.T., Back to the Future, Jaws, Ghostbusters, Jurassic World, Minions, Sing, Trolls, and Kung Fu Panda.
  • CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular (Universal Studios Florida): A riveting nighttime lagoon show that brings blockbuster soundtracks and iconic movie moments to vivid life.
  • Hogwarts Always (The Wizarding World of Harry Potter -- Hogsmeade, Universal Islands of Adventure): An awe-inspiring projection show set against Hogwarts castle, guiding guests through a magical school year's most unforgettable moments.

Hotel perks and CityWalk extras

Staying on-site unlocks a full season of added fun. All 11 Universal Orlando hotels will feature oversized sand sculptures inspired by fan-favorite characters, themed beverages throughout the portfolio, and exclusive character meet-and-greets every Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. in Soundstage 5 near Illumination's Villain-Con Minion Blast.
