Disney Cruise Line is plotting a particularly busy course for Fall 2027 and Spring 2028, and the itinerary map is getting deliciously crowded. The Disney Wish is heading to New York City, the Disney Magic is crossing the Panama Canal, and ships will sail from ports spanning San Juan to Singapore.

Early booking opens August 31 for select Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club members, followed by general booking on September 8. Time to start deciding whether the dream itinerary involves pink-sand beaches, autumn coastlines, or a double helping of Disney Castaway Cay.

The Disney Wish Takes a Bite Out of the Big Apple

After its inaugural European season, the Disney Wish will arrive in New York in late September 2027 for seven special four- to seven-night voyages. Five sailings from New York will visit Bermuda, including three cruises with an extra day in port for more time with the island’s culture and scenery.

The Disney Wish will also sail from New York to New England and Canada’s Atlantic coast, marking Disney Cruise Line’s first return to those fall-foliage-ready coastlines in nearly four years. Those red funnels against autumn colors? The camera roll has been warned.

San Juan Sailings and a Panama Canal Plot Twist

The Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy will sail from San Juan during Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 on five- to seven-night Southern and Eastern Caribbean itineraries, with tropical island escapes along the way.

Meanwhile, the Disney Magic will make two 14-night repositioning cruises through the Panama Canal: one in Fall 2027 and another in Spring 2028. Each voyage includes a maiden call. The eastbound sailing will stop at Fuerte Amador (Panama City), Panama, while the westbound sailing will visit Colon, Panama, the Caribbean gateway to the canal.

Longer repositioning sailings leave plenty of room for Disney entertainment, dining and upper-deck sun time between ports. Consider it the scenic route—with considerably better snacks.

Florida Gets a Full Fleet of Possibilities

For the first time, the Disney Destiny will home port in Port Canaveral in Fall 2027, sailing three- to seven-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. The Disney Destiny begins the season in Fort Lauderdale with three- to five-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean itineraries, alongside its heroes-and-villains-inspired onboard dining and entertainment.

After its New York and San Juan sailings, the Disney Wish returns to Port Canaveral for three- and four-night Bahamian cruises calling at Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

The Disney Treasure continues seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings, plus an eight-night Eastern Caribbean voyage and a six-night Bahamian sailing with two stops at Disney Castaway Cay. The Disney Dream will sail three- and four-night Bahamian itineraries from Port Canaveral before repositioning to Fort Lauderdale in November 2027 for three- to five-night Bahamas sailings. One six-night Disney Dream cruise includes two stops at Disney Castaway Cay.

The Disney Fantasy will sail from Port Canaveral from September through November 2027 on four- and five-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean cruises. From Fort Lauderdale, it will sail four- to seven-night Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean itineraries, plus its first eight-night Bermuda cruise from Fort Lauderdale, which visits both Disney Bahamian island destinations.

California, Texas and Southeast Asia Join the Fun

Two ships will sail from San Diego through early November 2027. The Disney Magic and Disney Wonder begin the California season with three- to seven-night Baja and Mexican Riviera cruises. The Disney Wonder remains in San Diego for Fall 2027 and Spring 2028, sailing three- to seven-night voyages with calls at Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Catalina Island, California.

Following its eastbound Panama Canal sailing, the Disney Magic heads to Galveston for four- to seven-night cruises. Select seven-night Bahamian itineraries from Texas include calls at both Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and Disney Castaway Cay.

Over in Singapore, the Disney Adventure continues with new three- and four-night itineraries from September through December 2027, pairing time at sea with Broadway-style entertainment and Disney Cruise Line guest service. Select Disney Adventure sailings from December 31, 2026, through May 2027 also add Langkawi, Malaysia, where lush rainforests and a scenic coastline await ashore.

Halloween and Holiday Cheer Set Sail, Too

Select ships will welcome Halloween on the High Seas beginning in September 2027. Expect Disney characters in spooky attire, special entertainment, deck parties and trick-or-treating at sea—because a candy haul is even more ambitious when it involves an ocean.

Very Merrytime sailings return in November and December 2027 with seasonal decorations, a tree lighting, special deck parties, holiday treats and visits from Santa Claus. The halls may be at sea, but they will still be thoroughly decked.
