Visit Australia on Disney Cruise Line’s Wonder
The Disney Wonder has officially arrived in Australia!
On October 27th, Disney Cruise Line made history when the Disney Wonder sailed for the first time ever from Australian shores, kicking off the inaugural 'Disney Magic at Sea' cruise for families in Australia and New Zealand. These special two- to six-night sailings will continue until February 2024, departing from four different home ports: Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane in Australia, and Auckland in New Zealand.
Guests can immerse themselves in their favorite Disney stories during the 'Disney Magic at Sea' cruises, with activities and spaces for everyone in the family to enjoy. From imaginative dining to world-class entertainment, Disney Cruise Line has it all covered. Guests can look forward to new versions of the "Heroes Unite" deck party, "Crush's Totally Awesome Pool Party," and special character encounters, including Moana's first appearance on the high seas, allowing them to experience Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars stories and characters in exciting new ways.
Disney is also thrilled to announce that Disney Cruise Line will be returning to Australia and New Zealand in the fall of 2024 for a second season of vacations, with departures running from October to February! Before making its way back to Australia, the Disney Wonder will embark on a set of bucket-list itineraries, sailing from Vancouver, Canada, to Honolulu, Hawaii, in late September 2024, with stops on the islands of Kauai, Maui, Hawaii, and Oahu. Families will then set sail on a transpacific voyage to Sydney, Australia, visiting once-in-a-lifetime destinations such as Fiji, American Samoa, and New Caledonia.
The arrival of the Disney Wonder in Australia is an incredible milestone for Disney Cruise Line's unprecedented expansion. With three new ships planned through 2025 and exciting new itineraries around the world, Disney magic at sea is now accessible to families across the globe for the first time.
