Update on Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney

The Disneyland Resort is buzzing with excitement and we have some exciting news to share about what's next for Downtown Disney District.

Take a look at these first-look renderings of the new Parkside Market, an exciting addition to the west end of the district. This curated collection of four diverse culinary concepts from Levy Restaurants will be housed under one roof. We recently shared that Parkside Market will feature Seoul Sister, a fast-casual eatery serving Korean rice bowls; Sip & Sonder, a coffee shop with Caribbean-inspired bites; GG's Chicken Shop, offering chicken sandwiches, salads, and classic sides; and a second-story bar with breathtaking views of the district. Guests can sip on signature craft cocktails and mocktails paired with delicious appetizers.

Hey Earl of Sandwich fans, we've got some exciting news for you! Downtown Disney District is going to have a brand new, two-story Earl of Sandwich location. The ground floor will feature a quick-service shop, while the upstairs will house a table-service gastropub. We can't wait to share more details about this project with you in the future.

In the meantime, keep an eye out for a temporary pop-up location of Earl of Sandwich opening soon near Star Wars Trading Post. Guests can indulge in delicious sandwiches such as The Original 1762, The Full Montagu, or the fan-favorite Holiday Turkey, as well as hand-crafted wraps, salads, and sweets.

As we mentioned earlier, Earl of Sandwich will be relocated from its current temporary location on the east end of the district near the Esplanade to make way for the construction of an all-new Porto's Bakery.

Now, let's take a sneak peek at what's coming to the center of the district later this spring. The new Paseo and Céntrico, along with Tiendita! Created by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán, the Paseo upstairs dining room and the first-floor Céntrico courtyard bar and restaurant will offer upscale Mexican cuisine and tequila-based cocktails. On the other hand, Tiendita, located next door, will serve Chef Gaytán's Mexican heritage flavors on-the-go, with quick-service Mexican street-food staples.

We've talked about what's coming soon, but there's also so much to enjoy right now in Downtown Disney District, including a new favorite spot to unwind and listen to music at the Downtown Disney LIVE! stage and lawn. Guests can sing and dance along to various genres of music, including Motown, rock, jazz, pop, and reggae. Be sure to check the entertainment schedule for seasonal and specialty performances throughout the year.

Downtown Disney District is a destination all on its own, offering distinctive dining, shopping, and entertainment options for guests to enjoy with family and friends. There are dozens of restaurants, snack stops, boutiques, and entertainment venues for guests to explore, including Splitsville Luxury Lanes, Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes, Ballast Point Brewing Co., Naples Ristorante e Bar, Wetzel's Pretzel, PANDORA Jewelry, Lovepop, California Sole, and World of Disney!
