Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Returns to Magic Kingdom in 2026
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Returns for 2026
As autumn settles over Magic Kingdom, Cinderella Castle transforms into the center of spooky fun, festive treats, and magical Halloween memories.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is back for 2026, bringing guests exclusive entertainment, candy trails, special character greetings, themed food, and plenty of not-so-scary thrills. This separately ticketed event remains one of the most popular seasonal celebrations at Walt Disney World—and for good reason.
What Is Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party?
This special after-hours event takes place on select nights at Magic Kingdom and offers a family-friendly Halloween celebration packed with exclusive experiences.
Guests can dress in creative Disney-themed costumes, collect candy throughout the park, enjoy spooky ride overlays, and watch the legendary Headless Horseman ride through the streets. From villain sightings to festive fireworks, every corner brings a little Halloween magic.
It is Halloween with a Disney twist—and yes, adults get candy too.
2026 Party Dates and Planning Tips
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs from August 7 through October 31, 2026, on select nights only.
2026 Party Dates:
August 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30
September 1, 4, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29
October 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31
Because these events often sell out, early planning is highly recommended for the best date selection.
New and Returning Entertainment
This year brings a fun new addition to Tomorrowland with Stitch hosting a lively dance party at Rockettower Plaza Stage.
Joined by Lilo and Angel, Stitch creates an unpredictable party experience as he explores Lilo’s Costume Trunk, with each accessory changing the party’s theme throughout the night.
Returning favorites also include the beloved Cadaver Dans, bringing their hauntingly smooth harmonies back to the park once again.
Ticket Sales and Discounts
Tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party go on sale starting May 5 for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green.
General ticket sales begin May 12 for all other guests.
Special discounts are once again available for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.
Party guests can also enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM, even though the event officially begins at 7:00 PM, giving plenty of extra time to enjoy the park before the spooky festivities begin.
Trick-or-Treating Across the Park
One of the biggest highlights of the party is trick-or-treating throughout Magic Kingdom.
Guests will find over a dozen candy stops marked on the party map, with cast members handing out generous portions of favorites like M&Ms, Snickers, and Starburst.
Complimentary treat bags are provided for every guest, including adults, so there is no need to bring a pumpkin bucket from home.
Even better, costumes are encouraged but not required to join the candy fun.
Exclusive Character Greetings
Halloween party nights bring rare meet-and-greet opportunities with fan-favorite characters in festive outfits.
Guests can meet Jack Skellington and Sally, Mickey and Minnie in Halloween costumes, and Pooh dressed as a bumblebee. Royal couples like Ariel and Eric, along with Aladdin and Jasmine, may also appear in special seasonal attire.
Disney Villains may also make surprise appearances throughout the park, adding a few extra chills to the night.
Boo-to-You Parade and Fan-Favorite Shows
The iconic Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade returns in 2026 with its earlier 8:15 PM start time, making it easier for younger guests to enjoy the nighttime magic.
The parade features Mickey, Minnie, Disney Princesses, villains, ghosts, and beloved characters like Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph.
Guests can also experience the wildly popular Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, where the Sanderson Sisters summon Disney Villains like Hades, Cruella De Vil, Jafar, and Dr. Facilier for a hilarious and spooky stage show.
Fireworks, Merch, and Spooky Snacks
As the night reaches its grand finale, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular lights up the sky with fireworks, castle projections, and a haunted adventure hosted by Jack Skellington.
Mickey and friends journey through Jack’s haunted house as guests watch dazzling encounters with Ursula, Oogie Boogie, and The Queen of Hearts.
Exclusive Halloween party merchandise, themed snacks, and returning ride overlays will also make their return, giving guests even more ways to celebrate the season.
