A new chapter is unfolding along the peaceful south shores of Bay Lake at Walt Disney World Resort with the arrival of Disney Lakeshore Lodge.
This upcoming waterfront retreat will blend the beauty of nature with the magic of Disney storytelling, creating a resort experience designed for relaxation, connection, and unforgettable family memories. Scheduled to open in summer 2027, Disney Lakeshore Lodge will become a stunning new addition to the Disney Resorts Collection.

Disney Lakeshore Lodge celebrates the natural world through the creative lens of Disney artists and storytellers.
Inspired by Walt Disney’s lifelong love of the outdoors, the resort’s design will honor animated classics that beautifully capture nature’s wonder. Guests may notice subtle inspirations drawn from beloved films like Bambi, Pocahontas, and Brother Bear, from peaceful forest settings to sweeping glacial landscapes and colorful windswept scenery.
Every detail is designed to reflect the harmony between storytelling and the natural environment.
A Relaxing Bay Lake Escape
Set along the quiet shoreline of Bay Lake, the resort is designed to encourage guests to slow down and enjoy the world around them.
Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows will fill the spaces with natural light while showcasing the surrounding plants, wildlife, and waterfront views. The architecture and interiors will create a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors, bringing nature into every part of the guest experience.
It is the kind of place where mornings feel calmer, sunsets feel brighter, and family memories come naturally.

Disney Lakeshore Lodge will feature 967 thoughtfully designed rooms with options for every type of stay.
Guests can choose from cozy studios, spacious suites, and brand-new one- and two-bedroom Lake Houses located along the waterfront. These Lake Houses will offer even more room for families to relax while staying closely connected to the peaceful lakeside setting.
Many accommodations will also feature beautiful views of Bay Lake during the day and spectacular views of Magic Kingdom fireworks at night—because a little extra magic never hurts.
