A new chapter is unfolding along the peaceful south shores of Bay Lake at Walt Disney World Resort with the arrival of Disney Lakeshore Lodge.

This upcoming waterfront retreat will blend the beauty of nature with the magic of Disney storytelling, creating a resort experience designed for relaxation, connection, and unforgettable family memories. Scheduled to open in summer 2027, Disney Lakeshore Lodge will become a stunning new addition to the Disney Resorts Collection.

Disney Lakeshore Lodge celebrates the natural world through the creative lens of Disney artists and storytellers.

Inspired by Walt Disney’s lifelong love of the outdoors, the resort’s design will honor animated classics that beautifully capture nature’s wonder. Guests may notice subtle inspirations drawn from beloved films like Bambi, Pocahontas, and Brother Bear, from peaceful forest settings to sweeping glacial landscapes and colorful windswept scenery.

Set along the quiet shoreline of Bay Lake, the resort is designed to encourage guests to slow down and enjoy the world around them.
