Latest Disney Treasure Update: From Shipyard to Open Waters

Recently, the Meyer Werft Shipyard was abuzz with activity as the Disney Treasure set sail for the first time. The ship was lifted from the floor of the building dock, with water from the Ems River pumped in to float the hull. The shipyard team then relocated the Disney Treasure to a new site, where it will undergo further construction.
So, why was the ship moved? Well, the team needed to make space for the Disney Destiny, the sister ship of both the Disney Wish and the Disney Treasure! This milestone marks a significant moment for Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney Imagineering, signifying the continued progress on the Disney Treasure and celebrating the fleet's expansion. The Disney Treasure and the Disney Destiny will soon be side-by-side in the shipyard, ushering in an unprecedented era of growth for Disney Cruise Line.
