Fall at Walt Disney World: Everything to Know for 2026
Summer might get all the hype, but fall at Walt Disney World Resort is something special. The evenings cool down, the pumpkins come out, and the whole resort leans into the season in a big way. Whether it's spooky parties, food festivals, or just soaking up the autumnal vibes, there is no shortage of reasons to visit.
Fall Decor Across the Parks and Resorts
From the moment of arrival, festive touches are everywhere. Pumpkins, wreaths, garlands, and all manner of autumnal charm transform the parks and resorts into a seasonal celebration worth strolling through slowly.
Magic Kingdom Park is especially stunning in fall. Main Street, U.S.A. gets dressed up in russets and warm tones, with red, yellow, and orange decor spreading through Fantasyland and Frontierland. Over in Storybook Circus, look for pumpkins inspired by a certain flying elephant and his pint-sized ringleader -- they are absolutely gourd-geous.
Halloween Overlay at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar
A fan-favorite returns to Disney Springs this fall! Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar is bringing back its Halloween overlay, complete with nostalgic spooky decor, new sinister sips, and eerie eats that are absolutely worth a visit.
2026 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival
Running from August 27 to November 21, 2026, the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is a fall institution. Global marketplaces, live music, specialty merchandise, and a lineup of dishes and drinks inspired by cultures from around the world make this more than just a food event -- it is a tradition.
The 2026 Foodie Guide is still to come, as is the Eat to the Beat Concert Series lineup, so keep an eye out for both in the coming months.
Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit at EPCOT
Another great reason to spend a fall day at EPCOT: Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit. This festive scavenger hunt tasks guests with finding hidden decorative pumpkins inspired by beloved Disney characters. Track them all down and a spooky festival keepsake awaits -- available while supplies last.
Fall Thrills at Disney's Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios knows how to do fall. Dare to step into the creaking service elevator at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, or come face to face with Disney's most iconic villains at "Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After." When the temperatures drop, a nighttime visit to Batuu in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge hits just right.
For a festive dining experience, Minnie's Halloween Dine at Hollywood and Vine offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner with Minnie Mouse and friends in their Halloween best. Equal parts adorable and eerie-sistable.
Autumn Adventures at Disney's Animal Kingdom
Fall is the perfect season to explore Animal Kingdom at a slower pace. Maharajah Jungle Trek offers scenic trails where Sumatran tigers roam and animals may be spotted enjoying seasonal treats. Kilimanjaro Safaris remains a can't-miss, with over 30 species viewable across the savanna.
After the safari, catch the new "Zootopia: Better Zoogether!" 4-D show at The Tree of Life Theater -- it's a crowd-pleaser that'll have everyone moving. Pandora - The World of Avatar and Expedition Everest round out a full and thrilling fall day. And for a bonus adventure, hop on the train to Bluey's Wild World at Conservation Station to join Bluey and Bingo for some Wackadoo fun.
