Discover New Magic at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays
Each year, visitors to Walt Disney World Resort's EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, presented by AdventHealth, bring their own holiday traditions—whether it’s indulging in the Cookie Stroll, shopping around World Showcase, or joining the family in song at the Candlelight Processional. This year, guests can enhance these traditions with exciting new experiences from November 29 through December 30.
A Grand and Miraculous Gingerbread Display
EPCOT’s Festival Team and Walt Disney Imagineering have joined forces with the EPCOT Pastry team to create an 8-foot-tall gingerbread replica of Spaceship Earth. This intricate gingerbread geodesic sphere, made up of hundreds of handcrafted gingerbread triangles, will be on display in CommuniCore Hall for all to enjoy. Just like the iconic park structure, the gingerbread version lights up and performs to music at intervals, thanks to the Celebration Countdown presented by CITIZEN.
Deck the CommuniCore Hall with Festive Decor
After viewing the gingerbread marvel, guests can explore CommuniCore Hall’s holiday decor inspired by EPCOT’s unique design. The Glittering Grove, presented by Balsam Hill, enchants with shimmering, beautifully decorated trees that add to the holiday atmosphere.
Many Merry Menus Await
Two new Holiday Kitchens at CommuniCore Hall bring fresh flavors and treats to this year’s festival.
- Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow: A highlight for families, this kitchen offers gingerbread triangles, just like those in the gingerbread Spaceship Earth, available in decorating kits for a hands-on activity perfect for kids.
- Favorites of Festivals Past: Located just outside CommuniCore Hall, this kitchen serves up fan-favorite dishes from past festivals, ensuring something delicious for everyone.
Family Fun with Snowflake Decorating
In CommuniCore Plaza, families can enjoy a complimentary snowflake decorating activity, adding a creative holiday touch to the day. This activity pairs well with other seasonal offerings, such as performances from Holiday Storytellers around World Showcase and the Glimmering Greenhouses light display at Living with the Land. All activities are included with park admission, making them easy to add to your list of holiday fun.
Guests can also enjoy the spirited music of JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season, now performing at its new location in CommuniCore Plaza.
Celebrate Seasonal Scents
Strolling between the Imagination! pavilion and World Showcase, visitors can immerse themselves in the scents of the season at Festive Fragrances, presented by Scentsy. This new display features a snow globe garden inspired by popular holiday aromas. For guests who want to take home a piece of the festival, select seasonal fragrances are available for purchase at CommuniCore Hall.
