Round Up the Fun: How Disney Parks Are Celebrating Toy Story 5
Howdy, Partner -- Toy Story 5 Has Arrived
Disney and Pixar's Toy Story 5 officially hit theaters June 19, and Disney Parks around the world are joining the celebration in a big way. From updated character looks to themed snacks and interactive experiences, there is plenty to love for fans of all ages. Here is a roundup of everything happening across Disney Experiences right now.
Fresh Looks for Favorite Characters
Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie are showing up across the parks in brand-new looks inspired by the film. Watch for updated accessories like Woody's bandana poncho, Jessie's sheriff badge, and Buzz Lightyear's star sticker.
At Disneyland Resort, the trio is greeting guests at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park. Over at Walt Disney World, Jessie and Woody are also appearing at Jessie's Round Up: A Rip-Roarin' Revue! at Magic Kingdom as part of Cool Kids' Summer.
Themed Treats Worth Saddling Up For
The snack lineup is just as exciting as the film itself. Kicking things off is the all-new Bullseye Bucket -- a collectible snack bucket shaped like everyone's favorite loyal steed. It debuted June 18 at Disney California Adventure and is coming soon to Magic Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World. Limit two per person per transaction, available while supplies last.
At Disneyland Resort, returning favorites include the Forky Cake Pop at Bing Bong's Sweet Stuff in Disney California Adventure, plus the Moonliner Macaron and The Green Drink at Alien Pizza Planet in Disneyland Park. The Little Green Men Jetpack Sipper has also landed at Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park and Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure.
Walt Disney World is getting in on the action too. Stop by Amorette's Patisserie in Disney Springs for the Yodel-ay-hee-hoo! Cheesecake, or swing through Woody's Lunch Box in Disney's Hollywood Studios for the Lilypad Lunch Box Tart. Themed bites are popping up all across the resort.
Entertainment That Brings the Wild West to Life
Jessie's Roundup: A Rip-Roarin' Revue! is a can't-miss show happening this Cool Kids' Summer at the Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Jessie, Woody, and Bullseye lead a high-energy performance packed with songs, dancing, games, and Western fun.
Even More Ways to Play
The celebration does not stop at snacks and meet-and-greets. Here are a few more ways to make the most of the Toy Story 5 moment.
Guided drawing experiences at the Animation Academy in Disney California Adventure Park offer step-by-step instruction on sketching Woody, Jessie, Bullseye, Buzz Lightyear, and Lilypad. It is a great activity for aspiring artists of every skill level.
While staying at or visiting Pixar Place Hotel at Disneyland Resort, be sure to check out the special Toy Story 5 installation on the second-floor atrium. The exhibit features drawings, paintings, a sculpture, and behind-the-scenes footage from the film.
And starting July 2, the Disney Poolside Splash Bash brings the party to Disneyland Resort Hotels every Thursday and Sunday. Featuring Disney trivia, music through the decades, and character dance performances, the event runs at Pixar Place Hotel, Disneyland Hotel, and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Jessie, Bo Peep, and Woody will be there to help celebrate -- and they are ready to show off their moves.
