Celebrate Halloween with Disney's Favorite Characters

Halloween Time and Plaza de la Familia return to the Disneyland Resort from August 22 through October 31, bringing spooky sights, festive treats, and an enchanting parade of Disney characters. Whether it’s a villainous photo op or a bite of a Pumpkin Pie Churro, this fall promises character-filled magic around every corner.


Characters in Costume at California Adventure

Step into Disney California Adventure and be greeted by eerie melodies and autumn decor stretching down Buena Vista Street. Near Elias & Co., Mickey and friends appear in Halloween flair, including:

  • Minnie Mouse in a dazzling flapper dress

  • Donald Duck in a devilish costume

  • Daisy Duck as a stylish witch

Haul-O-Ween Fun in Cars Land

Radiator Springs transforms into Radiator Screams, where Luigi’s and Mater’s rides get a Halloween twist. Guests can meet Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater, and Red the Firetruck in their spirited car-stumes. Join Mickey’s Trick and Treat Party

Over in Hollywood Land, the “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” show at the Disney Theater offers a family-friendly Halloween celebration. With catchy songs, colorful effects, and cheerful characters, little ones will love dancing along with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy in costume.


Dance with Coco-Inspired Characters at Plaza de la Familia

From August 22 through November 2, Plaza de la Familia honors Día de los Muertos with live performances and interactive storytelling inspired by Coco. Keep an eye out for the animated figure of Miguel and other colorful characters near Paradise Gardens Park.
