Disneyland Resort Brings Back Three Beloved Shows in 2027

Colorful dancers in patterned outfits lead a street parade past cheering crowds, flanked by a float with a cartoon mouse figure and a castle in view

Disneyland Resort is preparing for a very familiar kind of fanfare in 2027: curbside parade spots, castle-side gazing and the unmistakable feeling that nighttime has just gotten a little more theatrical.

Three beloved entertainment favorites are heading back to the resort next year, including two nighttime spectaculars and a daytime parade that knows exactly how to make an entrance.

February Brings a Castle-Sized Encore

A refreshed version of “Remember... Dreams Come True” returns to Disneyland Park in February 2027. The nighttime spectacular will once again illuminate Sleeping Beauty Castle with projections, while expanding the visual celebration to Rivers of America, the facade of “it’s a small world,” and Main Street, U.S.A.

Scheduled nightly performances will pair music with projections, and fireworks will add an extra spark above Disneyland Park on select evenings. Not every performance gets the pyrotechnic punctuation mark, so that detail is worth keeping on the planning radar.

A Wish Upon a Familiar Spectacular

“Remember... Dreams Come True” first debuted during Disneyland Resort’s 50th anniversary, also known as The Happiest Homecoming on Earth. With a vocal introduction by Broadway and film legend Julie Andrews, the show traces the power of wishes and dreams through favorite Disney stories.

Walt Disney’s dream of Disneyland also gets its moment in the spotlight through music and recognizable phrases from some of the park’s most popular attractions. Consider it a greatest-hits tour with a castle, a river and an entire Main Street as its canvas.

World of Color Dives Back In

Disney California Adventure Park will also welcome an updated take on the original “World of Color” in February 2027.

The nighttime spectacular journeys through the colorful worlds of Walt Disney Animation Studios films including The Little Mermaid and The Lion King, alongside Pixar Animation Studios stories such as Finding Nemo and Toy Story. Tying the experience together is a musical score featuring a special arrangement of the 1960s television theme for Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color, originally composed by Richard B. and Robert M. Sherman.

Summer’s Parade Has a Big Return Planned

Just in time for summer 2027, the “Magic Happens” parade will return to Disneyland Park. The high-energy daytime procession brings Disney stories to life with grand floats, artistic costumes, imaginative music, dynamic performers and plenty of familiar characters.

Mickey Mouse and pals lead the way through a parade that happily plays both classic and contemporary. Expect pumpkins turning into carriages, swords pulled from stones, and moments inspired by Disney Animation’s Cinderella and The Sword in the Stone, plus Pixar’s Coco.

2027 Is Getting a Standing Ovation

With “Remember... Dreams Come True” and World of Color returning in February, followed by the Magic Happens parade in summer, Disneyland Resort’s 2027 entertainment calendar is shaping up to be wonderfully packed from daylight to the last glow of the evening.
