Disney Cruise Line Debuts New Float at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
As the holiday season approaches, the iconic Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is just weeks away, and this year's event promises to be extra special with the debut of a brand-new Disney Cruise Line float, "Magic Meets the Seas." The float will feature a dazzling design, along with a new performance featuring beloved characters from Disney Animation, Pixar, and beyond.

The float’s design showcases the bows of eight Disney Cruise Line ships, with a focus on the highly anticipated Disney Treasure, set to embark on its maiden voyage this December. This float highlights the growing Disney Cruise fleet, which currently includes five ships, with three more to be launched this year and next: Disney Treasure, Disney Destiny, and Disney Adventure. Disney Cruise Line also recently announced plans to expand the fleet to 13 ships by 2031, marking a period of remarkable growth.
Leading the way on the float will be Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse, joined by special guests like Aladdin, Princess Jasmine, Miguel, and Moana. These iconic characters represent the magical experiences passengers can expect aboard the Disney Treasure.
True to Disney Cruise Line's reputation for Broadway-style entertainment, parade spectators and TV viewers will enjoy a lively performance featuring Mickey, Minnie, and friends from Disney classics such as Coco and Beauty and the Beast. The performance will culminate in a vibrant finale set to the new Disney Treasure anthem, "Live the Adventure," adding even more magic to this unforgettable parade moment.
