Disney Cruise Line 101 Fact Sheet

For Guests who have never sailed – or who have never sailed Disney Cruise Line – we’ve gathered the most frequently asked questions and compiled them into this quick Disney Cruise Line 101 Fact Sheet.

SHIPS

There are six Disney Ships currently sailing - Magic, Wonder, Dream, Fantasy, Wish, and Treasure. Coming at the end of 2025 are the new Destiny and Adventure.

PORTS

At this time, the ships sail from Florida, Texas, Vancouver, and European ports for Mediterranean sailings. There are also short (weekend) cruises which sail on occasion from California.

  • Magic sails from a variety of ports including San Juan, Port Canaveral, San Diego, Vancouver and Galveston.
  • Wonder sails from a variety of ports including Melbourne, Sydney, Aukland, San Diego, Vancouver and Hawaii.
  • Dream is currently sailing out of Fort Lauderdale on 3-, 4-, and 5-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean cruises with ports of call in Nassau, Castaway Cay, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and Cozumel. Starting in May, 2026 she will be sailing out of Southampton and Barcelona with ports of call in Belgium, Netherlands, the Mediterranean, British Isles, Greek Isles, and Norwegian Fjords.
  • Fantasy currently sails from Barcelona, Spain, and Southampton, England on 3-, 4-, 7-, and 8-night European cruises with ports of call such as Netherlands, British Isles, Norwegian Fjords, Spain, Portugal, and France. Beginning in summer 2026, it will sail out of Port Canaveral for 3-, 4-, and 5-night Bahamian cruises including ports of call Nassau, Castaway Cay, and Lookout Cay. She will also have a 10 night Southern Caribbean itinerary visiting Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, Antigua.
  • Wish sails from Port Canaveral, Florida on 3-, 4- and 5-night Bahamian cruises with ports of call such as Nassau, Key West, Castaway Cay, & Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point
  • Treasure is currently sailing 7-night Western & Eastern Caribbean from Port Canaveral. Ports include Tortola, St. Thomas, Cozumel, Falmouth and Castaway Cay.
  • Destiny will sail out of Fort Lauderdale on Bahamas itineraries as well as Western and Eastern Caribbean itineraries. Ports include Nassau, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, San Juan, St. Maarten, Castaway Cay, and Cozumel.
  • Adventure will sail out of Singapore on 3- ,4-, and 5-night cruises.

DISNEY'S PRIVATE ISLAND DESTINATIONS

Ships sailing from Florida may include a stop at the breathtaking Castaway Cay, Disney's private island in the Bahamas or their newest island paradise Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

STATEROOMS

There are four general stateroom categories - Inside (no window), Outside (window only), Verandah (private balcony) and Concierge Level Staterooms (private verandah rooms, suites and other rooms with additional amenities reserved exclusively for Concierge Guests).

UNIQUE TO DISNEY

Staterooms include what Disney refers to as a “split bath”. Bath one includes a toilet and sink and bath two includes a shower or tub and sink. With the exception of a Standard Inside Stateroom, all staterooms include the split bath option. (Note: Deluxe Inside Staterooms include a split bath.)

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Meals, entertainment, children's activity centers, character interactions, first run movies and much, much more are included with the cost of your cruise. (A complete list is provided with your Disney Cruise Line quote.)

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED*

Optional Shore Excursions, Spa Services, Alcohol and Gratuity are not included with the cost of your cruise.

ADD ON OPTIONS*

Airfare and transfers from the airport are not included in the price, but can be added to your cruise.

INSURANCE*

Cruises cancellation policies are fairly steep. Up to the entire cost of your cruise can be forfeited depending on the date of cancellation. For this reason, we strongly recommend the Disney Cruise Line Vacation Protection Plan.
