Discover the Reimagined Country Bear Jamboree at Disney World
Guests have been eagerly awaiting an update on the exciting developments coming to Walt Disney World's Frontierland in 2024 and beyond, including the highly anticipated Country Bear Musical Jamboree. So let's dive right in and take a closer look!
Prepare to tap your toes and enjoy some good old-fashioned country music this summer as the Country Bears get ready to put on a brand new show. Inspired by the iconic Opry style shows of Nashville, the Country Bear Musical Jamboree will feature nods to old favorites and new, reimagined Disney tunes in a variety of country music genres, including bluegrass, pop-country, Americana, and rockabilly.
If you missed the news while exploring the wild west, don't worry - we've got you covered. And to give you a taste of what's to come, here's a sneak peek at a clip Disney recently shared at Destination D23.
To prepare for the show, Country Bear Jamboree will close temporarily beginning January 27 and will reopen later this summer.
There's another exciting attraction in Frontierland that's currently undergoing a reimagination process. This new experience is being crafted with incredible attention to detail, ensuring that guests will be fully immersed in a one-of-a-kind adventure.
Tiana's Bayou Adventure will transport guests on a musical journey inspired by the beloved characters and story from the fan-favorite film. The adventure picks up where the movie left off, and guests will join Princess Tiana, the jazz-loving alligator Louis, and other familiar faces as they prepare for a unique Mardi Gras celebration where everyone is welcome.
Visitors to Magic Kingdom may have already caught a glimpse of the custom handcrafted weathervane created by Louisiana's master blacksmith, Darryl Reeves. The weathervane is now on display for anyone strolling past Tiana's Bayou Adventure, and it perfectly captures the essence of the Louisiana Bayou.
Disney's goal with Tiana's Bayou Adventure is to transport guests to another world and immerse them in the magic of the Louisiana Bayou in a way that only Disney can deliver. The installation of the weathervane is an important milestone for Cast Members and Imagineers, and Disney is thrilled to share it with guests when the new adventure opens later this year.
