Step into the Haunted Mansion Parlor aboard the Disney Treasure
Since its opening at Disneyland Park in 1969, the Haunted Mansion has been a beloved attraction, inspiring multiple adaptations and creating a rich lore that has captured the hearts of Disney Parks visitors. The forthcoming Haunted Mansion Parlor aboard the Disney Treasure will pay homage to over five decades of fandom, while introducing a new chapter to the Haunted Mansion saga.
Disney Cruise Line and Disney Imagineers will blend the nostalgia of the original attraction with a new nautical storyline, creating a well-appointed ship parlor that belonged to a sea captain and his captivating fiancé. The venue will invite guests to uncover the truth behind the mysterious disappearances of the couple by deciphering clues hidden around the bar.

One of the intriguing elements of the Haunted Mansion Parlor will be the "Aquarium with Ghost Fish," a modern interpretation of a concept proposed by Disney Imagineer Rolly Crump for the original Haunted Mansion. This aquarium will tie into the backstory of the parlor's former sea captain owner and his mysterious disappearance, adding a new layer of lore to the experience.

Additionally, the parlor will feature an eerie portrait gallery depicting the wandering souls that have taken up residence on the Disney Treasure. These portraits, reminiscent of the classic paintings inside the Haunted Mansion attraction, will be brought to life using present-day technologies to entertain guests in new and innovative ways.

The Haunted Mansion Parlor will also introduce a line of Disney Cruise Line-exclusive commemorative mugs inspired by the portraits inside the parlor. The ceramic mugs, designed to resemble worn wooden planks of a ghost ship, will be part of a series debuting onboard the Disney Treasure.
The Haunted Mansion Parlor is set to welcome guests when the Disney Treasure embarks on its maiden voyage on Dec. 21.
