Spooky Fun Returns to Magic Kingdom This Fall

As the sun dips behind Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort, Magic Kingdom transforms into a haven for all things spooky and sweet. Haunted melodies fill the air, eerie shadows stretch long, and the Haunted Mansion steals the spotlight. It’s time to dust off those costumes and mark the calendar because the 2025 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is creeping closer. Here’s what awaits at this fan-favorite fall event.

What to Expect at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

This after-hours, separately ticketed event brings Halloween magic to life with exclusive entertainment, spooky treats, special character greetings, and limited-edition merchandise. From parades and fireworks to trick-or-treat trails, the event offers the ultimate family-friendly celebration.

Guests are invited to dress in creative Disney-inspired costumes, fill treat bags with candy, and enjoy spooky overlays on popular attractions. Keep an eye out for costumed Disney Villains and even the Headless Horseman as he rides through the park.

2025 Event Dates Announced

The 2025 celebration runs on select nights from August 15 through October 31. Be sure to check the official calendar to lock in your preferred date.

2025 Party Nights:

  • August: 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 29

  • September: 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30

  • October: 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 23, 24, 26, 28, 30, 31

Planning Tip:
August and September dates mainly fall on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with a bonus Thursday on September 25. In October, the spooky fun ramps up with most Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays, and even Monday the 13th.

Spine-Tingling Character Greetings

Fans of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" can meet Jack Skellington and Sally in person, while Mickey and Minnie will appear together in Halloween attire for the first time at Town Square Theater.

Surprises continue with Disney Villains popping up throughout the night. Expect returning favorites and maybe even a few new spooky faces.

Ticket Sales and Discounts

Tickets go on sale starting May 15 for guests staying at select Disney Resorts, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green.
General ticket sales begin May 22.

Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can enjoy special discounts. Guests may enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM, with the event officially running from 7:00 PM to midnight.

Trick-or-Treat Adventures

Over a dozen treat trails await, handing out Mars Wrigley favorites like Snickers, M&Ms, and Starburst. Complimentary treat bags are provided, so no need to bring your own.

For guests with food allergies, teal treat bags and allergy-friendly tokens are available at every station, redeemable for safe treats at designated Allergy-Friendly Centers.

Costumes are encouraged but not required for trick-or-treating fun. Be sure to follow the official costume guidelines for safety.

Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade

Don’t miss Mickey, Minnie, and a cast of costumed characters leading a parade packed with dancing ghosts, Disney Princesses, and mischievous Villains. Look out for rare appearances from Pain & Panic and Vanellope!

The parade steps off at 8:15 PM, giving little ones plenty of time to enjoy the spooky spectacle.

Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular

The Sanderson Sisters return to the stage in this fan-favorite show, calling on Disney Villains like Hades, Jafar, and Cruella to help cast a wicked spell. Expect laughs, songs, and plenty of spooky surprises.

Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular

Join Jack Skellington for a dazzling fireworks show as Cinderella Castle transforms into a haunted mansion. Follow Mickey and friends on a spooky adventure featuring fan-favorite villains like Ursula and Oogie Boogie.

More Tricks, Treats, and Spooky Beats

Select attractions will receive spooky overlays, adding extra chills to classic favorites. Get ready to groove at a new dance party inspired by “Zombies 4”, and enjoy live performances by the Cadaver Dans, returning to fill the night with eerie harmonies.

A new foodie guide is on the way, promising delicious Halloween-themed snacks and drinks. Exclusive party merchandise will also be available to commemorate the night’s memories.
