Get Ready For Adventureland Treehouse Reopening

Sign announcing the opening of the Adventureland Treehouse at Disneyland on November 10, 2023, inspired by Swiss Family Robinson.

Adventureland Treehouse, based on Walt Disney’s Swiss Family Robinson, is all set to open its doors on November 10, 2023, at Disneyland Resort. The treehouse is a tribute to the original treehouse built by Walt Disney and his Imagineers in 1962. The new Adventureland Treehouse will feature a fresh storyline for the next generation of park-goers to experience and enjoy.

The treehouse will be home to the family's music den, nature room, astronomer's loft, kitchen, dining room, and father's art studio. The family fashioned an oasis among the trees, inspired by nature and using objects found around them. The treehouse provides a space for each family member to pursue their own individual skills, talents, passions, and interests.

The family has rolled out the welcome mat and invites visitors from around the world to climb up the stone stairway and explore their treetop abode. The iconic waterwheel, powered by a small brook, is adjacent to the stairwell. The family created a pulley system to deliver water from the stream high up into the tree, generating the energy needed to activate many of their gadgets and inventions.

The daughter's room is nestled in the highest part of the home and provides a clear view of the night sky. She spends her time tracking stars, planets, and comets with her many telescopes, making new discoveries which she logs in her notebooks, sketches, and artistic recreations. In the mother's room, find musical instruments including a harp, lute, guitar, and organ. The twin brothers have packed their room with a collection of plants and animals, all living in harmony with one another. The father's studio reflects the whole family's affinity for exploring the unknown and designing the unimaginable.

Disney can't wait to welcome visitors back to this walk-through attraction in the trees soon!
