Feel the Holiday Magic in Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort

It’s the holiday season and we invite everyone to experience the magic, the sparkles, the shopping, the eats and treats, and all the wondrous delights in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort, now through Jan. 8, 2023! With specialty boutiques, live entertainment, holiday foods and festivities, Downtown Disney District is the ideal destination for guests to get their dose of Disney, make memories and find the perfect gifts!
The promenade is brimming with brightly decorated trees in an array of red, green, silver and gold that sparkle with snowflakes, ornaments and icicles in planters with larger-than-life candy canes, glittering presents and colorful Christmas nutcrackers.
Holiday treats are always a must, and this year, Downtown Disney District is offering more than 25 seasonal food and drink items for a limited time! Guests will want to visit again and again to try them all! To tempt their taste buds, here we picture holiday scoops from Salt & Straw, a Mickey Mouse Holiday Crisped Rice Treat from Marceline’s Confectionery, a spiced Gingerbread Cupcake from Sprinkles, and Maple and Bacon Glazed Beignets from Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen.
Grownups may sip themed libations such as the Mistletoe Mule from Catal Restaurant and Uva Bar & Cafe or a Candy Cane-Rita from Tortilla Jo’s.
For the first time, Downtown Disney District is also offering “Friends of the Festival” menu items as an extension of Disney Festival of Holidays, celebrating diverse cultural festivities taking place in Disney California Adventure park, now through Jan. 8, 2023. Visit Naples Ristorante e Bar for Diwali-inspired selections and Tortilla Jo’s for their limited time specials.
As another extension of Disney Festival of Holidays, little ones will have fun making paper garland in the colors of Christmas/Navidad, Hanukkah, Diwali and Kwanzaa at the complimentary holiday crafts table, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, near the Downtown Disney LIVE! stage.
For all the Disney fans, they can plan to spend some time shopping for treasures in World of Disney, Disney Home, The Disney Dress Shop, Star Wars Trading Post and WonderGround Gallery, where they'll be sure to find Disney toys, apparel, home decor, collectibles and keepsakes for everyone on the nice list!
Trending! Find the hottest holiday gifts such as modern design products from Black creatives at Post 21, holiday pop-up cards at Lovepop, official World Cup gear from Pelé Soccer, socks and stocking stuffers from California Sole, cool styles with a beach vibe at Curl Surf, the new Holiday Main Street set at The LEGOStore, Disney x Pandora holiday-style bracelet charms at Pandora Jewelry, and the latest skincare, make-up and hair products from Sephora.
Guests can also take a break and unwind with the scents of the season! Just steps from the Downtown Disney District is Tenaya Stone Spa, a beautifully cozy retreat at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, which is offering holiday spa treatments for a limited time, Nov. 25, 2022 – Jan. 2, 2023. Guests can treat themselves to a Candy Cane Lane Foot Treatment with a refreshing peppermint cocoa foot soak, scrub and a minty massage to soothe and invigorate their feet and legs. The Underneath the Tree Signature Massage incorporates customized massage techniques combined with the scent of fir, California lemon, wild mint and eucalyptus for pure relaxation. New this year, Tenaya Stone Spa gift cards are now available and the spa is open to non-hotel guests. Advance reservations are highly recommended and can be made by visiting Disneyland.com.
Enjoy the evening listening to live entertainment throughout the season featuring Holiday Harmony donning their fun holiday sweaters, along with The Moonrays and The Sugarplums in their holiday finest, performing near the Downtown Disney LIVE! stage, Fridays through Sundays, 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Nov. 25-Dec. 25, 2022.
Join in the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive supporting Toys for Tots and help us inspire joy and hope this holiday season. Donate a new, unwrapped toy in person through Dec. 12, 2022. Donation bins are located in the Downtown Disney District near World of Disney, at Star Wars Trading Post and at the three Hotels of the Disneyland Resort. The U.S. Marines will be on hand from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Dec. 10-11, 2022, near the Downtown Disney LIVE! stage to accept donations as well.
Disney’s tradition of supporting the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves’ Toys for Tots program dates back to Walt Disney, who personally supervised the creation of the Toys for Tots logo. Disney also was a founding sponsor of the program when it began in 1947. Today, the Disneyland Resort is proud to continue supporting this tradition.
