Both Disney World Water Parks to Reopen This Summer
Double the Splash: Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon Open May 21
Get ready for a cool kid summer at Walt Disney World Resort! In celebration of Blizzard Beach’s 30th anniversary, Disney has announced that both of its water parks—Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon—will be open this summer.
For the first time since 2019, all six Disney parks—four theme parks and two water parks—will be welcoming guests simultaneously. From May 21 to September 7, visitors can experience the tropical paradise of Typhoon Lagoon alongside the icy adventures of Blizzard Beach.
Before the summer excitement kicks off, Blizzard Beach will take a brief break for maintenance from May 1 to May 20. Once reopened, it’s time to slide into the season with extra water attractions, lazy rivers, and splash-filled activities, joining Disney World’s lineup of special summer deals, shows, and entertainment perfect for families.
Free Water Park Access for Resort Guests
This summer, guests staying at a Disney World Resort can start their vacation with a splash! From May 21 onward, resort guests will receive free water park admission on their arrival day, with the choice between Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.
Nighttime Fun at H2O Glow After Hours
Looking for some after-dark water park magic? H2O Glow After Hours at Typhoon Lagoon returns on select nights between May 23 and September 13. Enjoy a glowing dance party under the stars, complete with complimentary snacks and appearances from Toy Story characters. Plus, nighttime means cooler temperatures and shorter wait times!
Special deals make H2O Glow even more enticing in 2025—kids' tickets are priced at just $42.50, half the cost of an $85 adult ticket. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members can also score savings on adult tickets, making it a fin-tastic option for families.
