Disney Treasure: Unveiling Captain Minnie Mouse’s Bow Artwork
The Meyer Werft Shipyard in Papenburg Germany is making great progress on the Disney Treasure, with the New Year bringing in new developments. Last year in April, Disney Cruise Line unveiled the bow artwork of the Disney Treasure, which features Captain Minnie Mouse in her iconic adventure outfit. Now, the hull of the ship is taking shape with the whimsical design adorning it. The Disney Cruise Line fleet has a long-standing tradition of featuring a unique character-inspired artwork on the bow of its ships, and the Disney Treasure is no exception. Its completion marks an exciting milestone as it moves into the next stage of construction. The shipyard team welded pre-cut steel plates to the hull and then painted them by hand to achieve their signature golden hue before sealing them with a special topcoat. This artwork is just one of the many unique details that will set the Disney Treasure apart when it sets sail later this year.
