Disney Treasure Sets Sail for Port Canaveral on Maiden Transatlantic Journey
On October 29, 2024, Disney Cruise Line's newest cruise ship, the Disney Treasure, began its transatlantic voyage from Eemshaven, Netherlands, to Port Canaveral, Florida. Spanning over 4,500 miles, the journey is expected to take two weeks.

The Disney Treasure will make its debut port of call in the picturesque city of Funchal, Portugal, where it will pause briefly before continuing on its route. This stop will provide an opportunity for guests to experience the charm of Madeira’s capital city.
Final Preparations at Sea
During the transatlantic crossing, crew members will conduct final preparations on board to ensure the ship is ready for its maiden voyage on December 21, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for Disney's cruise offerings.
