Pop Century Resort Shines Brighter with Fresh Updates

A Fresh Look That Still Feels Familiar

Disney’s Pop Century Resort hasn’t changed what makes it popular—it’s just been refreshed in ways that make the experience feel a little smoother and more comfortable.

The bold colors, playful details, and nods to past decades are all still there. Now, they’re paired with updates that make the spaces feel more open and easier to use.

The Lobby Feels More Open (and Less Crowded)

The biggest change is right when guests walk in.

The lobby feels brighter and more spacious, with a layout that gives people room to pause instead of immediately moving through. There’s more seating than before, including shared tables that work well for quick breaks or planning the day.

The design leans into the same retro theme, with large-scale artwork inspired by the 1950s through the 1990s and familiar Disney characters worked into the space. The TV wall stands out as a simple, nostalgic touch that adds character without overwhelming the room.

It’s still colorful, still energetic—just easier to settle into.

Petals Pool Bar Design Is Quicker and Cleaner

Over at the Hippy Dippy Pool, Petals Pool Bar has been updated in small but noticeable ways.

The look is cleaner, with new tile details behind the bar, and the addition of digital menus makes ordering more straightforward. It’s the kind of change that doesn’t draw attention to itself—but makes a difference when it’s busy.

Everything moves a little faster, and the space feels more comfortable overall.

Rooms That Are Simple, Bright, and Functional

The refreshed rooms follow the same idea: keep the personality, improve the feel.

There’s a lighter color palette, with blue accents near the beds and a geometric rug that adds just enough color without making the room feel busy. Wood-style flooring helps the space feel a bit more modern and easier to maintain.

Small Disney details—like subtle patterns and Hidden Mickeys—are still there, but they don’t take over the room. It feels clean, comfortable, and easy to come back to after a long day.

Everything Around It Still Works Well

These updates fit in with improvements already made around the resort, including the refreshed Everything POP Shopping & Dining area and added coffee options.

One of the biggest advantages is still the Disney Skyliner, which is just steps away and makes getting to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios simple.

Extras like early theme park entry and helpful cast members throughout the resort continue to make the stay feel easy to navigate.

An Easy Place to Stay, Just a Bit Better

Pop Century isn’t trying to be something new—it’s just been improved in the right places.

The result is a resort that still feels fun and familiar, but now runs a little smoother, feels a little more comfortable, and makes it easier to settle in and enjoy the stay.
