Discover the New Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas
Excitement is building as more details are shared about the tropical features coming to the new Island Tower addition at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, which is set to open on December 17.
Delicious Dining at Wailulu Bar & Grill
Guests can look forward to experiencing the flavors of the South Pacific Islands at the Wailulu Bar & Grill. The name "Wailulu," which means "calm water" in Hawaiian, perfectly suits this unique restaurant, which will offer breathtaking views of the Seven Seas Lagoon.
Wailulu Bar & Grill will feature spacious indoor and outdoor seating areas, along with a bar space that provides a stunning view of Cinderella’s Castle at Magic Kingdom Park. This casual, walk-up pool bar will serve an all-day menu for lunch and dinner, inspired by the local and indigenous ingredients of the Polynesian Islands. Breakfast will include specialty coffee and a selection of pastries for those on the go.
The dining area will be decorated with captivating Polynesian-inspired artwork created exclusively for this space. Some pieces will be crafted from recycled materials and reclaimed fishing nets, with fish motifs that appear to "swim" throughout the room, leading to a grand textile installation in the bar area that represents a colorful coral reef.
At the heart of the dining room, an abstract Polynesian Stick Chart—a traditional navigation tool—will be showcased. A vibrant centerpiece featuring shades of blue, teal, and green faux-stained glass will add to the inviting ambiance, encouraging guests to explore the delightful menu.
In keeping with the spirit of exploration, a painting of Moana, the beloved wayfinding princess, will be on display at Wailulu Bar & Grill.
Additional details about Wailulu Bar & Grill and its menu will be shared soon!
Relax by the New Pool & Splash Area
Children can unleash their inner adventurer at Moana’s Voyage, a whimsical new splash area featuring life-size sculptures of Moana and her iconic canoe from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film.
The Island Tower will also include the Cove Pool, a new zero-entry pool offering even more opportunities for relaxation.
Enjoy Stunning Terrace Garden Views
Guests staying at the Island Tower addition will have exclusive access to four beautifully designed terrace gardens. Each garden will feature vibrant artwork, lush foliage, and uniquely themed seating areas, providing a serene setting for families to gather and enjoy the views during their stay.
These gardens will offer picturesque views of Disney’s Oak Trail and Magnolia Golf Courses or the Seven Seas Lagoon, making them an ideal location for viewing the Magic Kingdom fireworks.
