Step Into Pirate Paradise at Cask & Cannon Aboard the Disney Destiny
Welcome Aboard the High Seas’ Most Pirate-Inspired Pub
No enchanted compass is needed to uncover the latest treasure aboard the Disney Destiny. Cask & Cannon, a brand-new lounge inspired by Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean, is setting the stage for nautical mischief and legendary lore. New design details and concept art reveal a space that feels like stepping straight into a pirate’s hideaway.
Inside the Pirate’s Den
Cask & Cannon is designed to echo the heart of a classic pirate tavern, bursting with trinkets, treasures, and clever nods to Disney Parks’ attractions. The setting is rich with wooden planks reminiscent of a ship’s interior, mismatched antique furniture, and pirate-worthy decor like rum bottles, fishing nets, and skull-and-crossbones emblems.
Treasure hunters will be rewarded with intricate details throughout the space — including carved portholes mimicking charred wood as a tribute to the burning village scene from the ride, and lanterns borrowed in spirit from Disneyland Paris’ version of the attraction.
Design Gems and Hidden Details
From stacked treasure chests forming the bar to a whimsical ceiling map inspired by Disney Legend Marc Davis, every inch of Cask & Cannon is steeped in pirate lore. The ceiling artwork features seven pirate ships — a clever reference to each vessel in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, with Disney Destiny as the newest addition.
Even the carpet joins the adventure, woven with symbols like the Pieces of Eight from the pirate lords and Captain Jack Sparrow’s legendary compass. Whether it leads to treasure or trouble… that’s for guests to find out.
Global Pirate Adventure in Every Drawer
Just off the main bar, guests will discover thirteen drawers, each holding a treasure map that nods to global Disney attractions. Scenes like The Ghostly Grotto, Port Royale, Talking Skull Bay, Blue Bayou, and Treasure Cove connect this pub to a worldwide pirate legacy.
Set Sail with Exclusive Pirate Merchandise
For those ready to bring the spirit of Cask & Cannon home, an exclusive collection of pirate-themed merchandise will be available aboard the Disney Destiny. Expect unique bar tools, collectible drinkware, swashbuckling apparel, a treasure-toting tote bag, and more — while supplies last.
