While we all know there’s magic afoot at the Disneyland Resort, it’s little-known that the magic can even appear in your Disney PhotoPass photos. Disney PhotoPass photographers capture picture-perfect memories of the whole family – and sometimes, photographers sprinkle even more pixie dust on your photos. We call these Magic Shots. Let’s dive into our favorite Disney PhotoPass Magic Shots currently available most times most days at the Disneyland Resort.

Balloons
Location: Disneyland Resort

Don’t float away! This magical photo op features iconic Mickey Mouse Balloons and is captured at many locations throughout the Disneyland Resort. It's available year-round and is often available with limited-time theming for various celebrations. Right now, Guests can enjoy balloons themed to the Disney100 celebration! Be sure to ask a photographer if they are offering this Magic Shot at their location.

Cheshire Cat
Location: Mad Tea Party in Fantasyland

Is it an unbirthday? This Magic Shot is the perfect way to celebrate. The Cheshire Cat is sure to make Guests grin when he pops into their Disney PhotoPass photo over at the Mad Tea Party in Fantasyland.

 

Huey, Dewey and Louie
Location: Left of the Hyperion Theater in Hollywood Land

Huey, Dewey and Louie are excited to have Guests in their photo! Make sure to stop by the photo location to the left of the Hyperion Theater in Hollywood Land and get these three troublemakers in a photo — and promise not to tell Uncle Donald Duck about their shenanigans!

Violet’s Force Field
Location: Bridge to Pixar Pier

We still have more incredible Magic Shots ahead. Located on the bridge to Pixar Pier, this Magic Shot gets the whole family in the frame – and in Violet’s force field! With her superpowers, Violet shields Guests from Jack-Jack’s unpredictable superhuman abilities.

Porg
Location: Millennium Falcon

If Guests' travels bring them to the remote planet of Batuu, head over to the Disney PhotoPass Image Scanner (known on our planet as a photographer) by the Millennium Falcon to get this inquisitive creature in a photo!

Minnie Mouse
Location: Sleeping Beauty Castle & Partners statue

Minnie Mouse is the star of the show in this Magic Shot! She’s stylish, creative and an icon! A classic and must-have for the collection, this Magic Shot is located in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, as well as the Partners statue.

Buzz Lightyear and Woody
Location: Bridge to Pixar Pier

Looking for a rootin’ tootin’ good time? Another great Magic Shot can be found on the bridge to Pixar Pier! To round up the end of this list, Buzz Lightyear and Woody are flying into the frame with this “toy-rific” photo op.

To download and share Disney PhotoPass photos from the Disneyland Resort, including these Magic Shots, Guests can purchase Disney Genie+ service or Disney PhotoPass+ One Day, both of which include digital downloads of the photos from the day. Or, Guests may purchase Disney PhotoPass photos as individual digital downloads. Guests must link Disney PhotoPass photos to their Disney account to be able to download them.*
