Tiana’s Bayou Adventure: New Attraction Poster & Characters
Are you excited to explore more of Tiana's Bayou Adventure and meet some new Disney characters? Get ready to join the party during Mardi Gras season and enjoy some fantastic musical accompaniment from the critter musicians.
Previously, you met the critters who played Zydeco music, and now it's time to march with Rara! Rara is a musical tradition from Haiti that's part of the of the musical history and melting pot of New Orleans. The genre includes unique instruments with beautiful, distinctive sounds.
Let's meet the Rara musicians guests will discover further down the bayou:
- Octavia the Bobcat: Octavia plays the vaksina single-note horn instrument popular in Rara music. She's an adventurous bobcat kitten who loves climbing trees and performing.
- Pawpaw the Bobcat: Pawpaw is Octavia's devoted grandfather who also taught her how to play the vaksin. He's a wise and optimistic bear who lives to make Octavia smile.
- Claude the Louisiana Black Bear: Claude is a tinkerer who loves to create with things found in the forest. He's frequently funny without intending to be and plays his horn along with the other members of his family.
- Bernadette the Louisiana Black Bear: Bernadette is warm and supportive, loves to enjoy life, and enjoys playing the horn with her mate, Claude.
- Sebastián the Louisiana Black Bear: Sebastián is happy to follow his friend Octavia's adventurous lead as they explore and play. He's fascinated with the small details in the bayou, like the insects and mushrooms.
- Phina the Gray Fox: Phina is an imaginative fox who's constantly thinking of new ideas with optimism and energy. She's continually starting new projects with excitement.
You'll find these new friends as Audio-Animatronics figures throughout the attraction, and some of them will also appear in the Walt Disney World attraction poster. Stay tuned for the reveal of the last group of talented critters next week!
