Young adventurers aboard the Disney Destiny will race straight into the vibrant, candy-coated world of Sugar Rush, inspired by Wreck-It Ralph. As part of the ship’s immersive Oceaneer Club, this themed space transforms the popular video game setting into a playful paradise, complete with candy-shaped lighting, a custom speedway-style carpet, and delectable design details that bring the Sugar Rush universe to life.
Meet Ralph and Vanellope in Full Color
Anchoring the experience are life-size statues of the lovable duo Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz. These colorful characters are more than photo ops—they reflect the ship’s larger heroes-and-villains theme, proving that even “bad guys” can be good at heart.
Designed with Imagination (and a Dash of Chocolate)
Imagineer Meg Tracy, part of the team behind this sugar-charged creation, carefully reviewed every paint detail to ensure Ralph and Vanellope look just like their animated counterparts. Now that the finishing touches are in place, the statues are headed for Deck 2, ready to welcome kids into a whimsical world of racing and sweet adventure.
