Hop Into Adventure: ‘Hoppers’ Takes Over Disneyland and Disney World

Two guests pose under the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail sign at Disney California Adventure, showing a Pixar Hoppers character T-shirt.

Disney and Pixar’s newest adventure, Hoppers, leaps into theaters on March 6, and the celebration has already begun across Disney parks. From interactive quests and creative drawing sessions to special photo moments and nature-inspired activities, the playful spirit of the film is hopping into both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.

Guests can discover new experiences, themed keepsakes, and creative opportunities inspired by the characters and wild adventures of the film.

Adventure Awaits at Disneyland Resort

At Disney California Adventure Park, guests can explore several limited-time experiences that bring the lively world of Hoppers to life.

One highlight is Mabel’s Seek & Find at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Guests receive a special keepsake map and follow a series of fun challenges throughout the trail. Along the way, explorers step into the paws of different animal characters while navigating twists, turns, and nature-inspired tasks.

Completing the adventure earns participants a complimentary Hoppers-themed sticker featuring beloved characters such as King George, Ellen Bear, Insect Queen, or the scene-stealing Tom Lizard. It’s a cheerful badge of honor after conquering the woodland challenges of Grizzly Peak.

The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail also offers year-round adventures including:

  • Cliff Hanger Traverse Rock Climb

  • Hoot n’ Holler Log Slides

  • Sequoia Smokejumpers Training Tower

  • The Spirit Cave

Each activity invites guests to climb, slide, explore, and embrace the wild.

Learn to Draw Hoppers Characters

Inside the Disney Animation Building in Hollywood Land, Animation Academy is adding a creative twist to the celebration.

For a limited time, guests can join step-by-step drawing classes inspired by Hoppers. Guided by a Disney animator, participants learn how to sketch characters like Mabel, Tom Lizard, and King George.

Classes run every 30 minutes throughout the day and require no reservations. Artists of all skill levels can take part and leave with a one-of-a-kind drawing as a souvenir of the experience.

Capture Magical Hoppers Photo Moments

Disney PhotoPass photographers are also getting in on the fun with limited-time Hoppers Magic Shots.

Guests visiting Redwood Creek Challenge Trail or the area near Hyperion Theater may discover a surprise when viewing their photos later—favorite Hoppers characters might appear right in the image.

Digital downloads of these photos are available through Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Disney PhotoPass+ One Day, or individual photo purchases after linking photos to a Disney account.

Explore the Creative World of Hoppers

Art lovers can hop over to Pixar Place Hotel, where a special gallery on the second-floor lobby showcases the creative journey behind the film.

The exhibit features original concept art, early sketches, and character maquettes that helped shape the story and visual style of Hoppers. Visitors can spot early designs of characters like Grandma Tanaka, Mabel, and Beaver Jerry while seeing how the film’s imaginative world evolved from sketch to screen.

Celebrating Nature at Walt Disney World Resort

The excitement continues across Walt Disney World Resort with activities inspired by the film’s love of wildlife and the natural world.

In celebration of Hoppers and the 30th anniversary of the Disney Conservation Fund, Disney has partnered with Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots USA to inspire young environmental changemakers.

Through a nationwide Youth Challenge, the initiative aims to encourage 100,000 young people to take action for nature in their communities. Selected participants will be invited to a special celebration at Walt Disney World in fall 2026.

A Nature-Inspired Activity Packet

Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment team has also released a free digital Hoppers activity packet. Filled with fascinating animal facts and nature-themed activities, the packet invites families to learn about wildlife and habitats.

From discovering the important role beavers play in ecosystems to exploring different animal behaviors, the activities provide a playful way to connect with nature.

EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival Displays

At EPCOT, the International Flower & Garden Festival features themed character displays inspired by Hoppers.

Guests can find special character flats in the “wildlife crossing” area near The Land Pavilion—perfect for snapping photos amid colorful festival gardens and seasonal displays.

Catch Hoppers at Disney Springs

The adventure continues at AMC Disney Springs 24 Dine-In Theatre, where Hoppers premieres on March 6.

Moviegoers can strike a pose with themed backdrops before the show, creating the perfect photo to remember the wild journey.

From woodland quests and animation classes to conservation initiatives and movie moments, Hoppers is making a lively leap across Disney parks. Whether exploring trails, sketching favorite characters, or celebrating wildlife, the adventure offers plenty of ways to hop into the fun.
