From May 16, 2025, through summer 2026, Disneyland Resort is throwing a birthday bash like no other—70 years of dreams, wonder, and pure delight! The Happiest Place on Earth will shimmer with enchanting entertainment, sparkling décor, themed treats, and oh-so-collectible treasures. It’s a year-long party, and everyone’s invited to celebrate happy!

A Musical Spell: “Celebrate Happy” by the Jonas Brothers

The celebration begins with a magical melody! A brand-new theme song, “Celebrate Happy,” will dance through the parks, sung by none other than the Jonas Brothers. It’s catchy, joyful, and impossible not to hum along with—and you’ll be able to stream it starting May 13.

World of Color – Happiness! at Disney California Adventure Park

Walt’s timeless words, “To all who come to this happy place, welcome,” set the stage for a luminous nighttime spectacular. Hosted by Joy and her emotional crew from Inside Out, World of Color – Happiness! takes guests on a heart-glowing journey through vibrant feelings, dazzling lights, and beloved Disney and Pixar tales like Encanto, Turning Red, Tangled, and The Incredibles.

Expect soaring fountains, shimmering lasers, and even dancing flames. Special performances by Boyz II Men and FITZ add musical magic to the mix, while The Muppets pop in with a giggle-worthy pre-show led by the ever-enthusiastic Joe the Legal Weasel.

Wondrous Journeys Lights Up the Night

A breathtaking tribute to Disney animation, Wondrous Journeys is back to paint the night sky with projection magic, heartwarming music, and moments from classics like Peter Pan, Moana, Big Hero 6, and The Princess and the Frog. On select evenings, the show will dazzle with fireworks, too—because no celebration is complete without a few sky sparkles.

A Joyful Jaunt: Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!

This daytime parade at Disney California Adventure is bursting with cheer, featuring dynamic floats, joyful music, and more than two dozen Pixar pals—from Luca to Up. It’s a friendship-filled romp through your favorite stories, reminding us that life truly is better together.

Whimsy in Lights: Tapestry of Happiness

As the sun sets, “it’s a small world” transforms into a glittering storybook with Tapestry of Happiness. Inspired by Mary Blair’s whimsical style, this nighttime projection show weaves together Disneyland memories, attraction nods, and the magical anthem “Celebrate Happy.”

Mickey and Friends Dress to Impress

The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade: A Whirlwind of Delight

Dance, clap, and cheer as a joyful cavalcade parades down the route with Goofy, Max, and some rare Disney friends like Duffy and ShellieMay. It’s a whirlwind of color, music, and 70 years of fun wrapped in one delightful procession.

Enchanting Décor from Gate to Castle

From the moment you arrive, the magic begins. A 50-foot sculpture inspired by Sleeping Beauty Castle dazzles in the esplanade, while floral Mickey smiles in a blanket of blooms at the gates. Main Street, U.S.A. beams with rainbow bunting, and Sleeping Beauty Castle glows with a golden medallion.

At Disney California Adventure, Carthay Circle Restaurant joins the celebration with evening projection shows, lights, and the joyful beat of “Celebrate Happy.” The enchantment continues through Downtown Disney and the Disneyland Resort Hotels.
