First Look: ‘Disney Starlight’ Parade Unveils Coco Float and Official Poster
Exciting updates are here for Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, the brand-new nighttime parade set to dazzle guests at Magic Kingdom Park this summer at Walt Disney World Resort. As the Disney Live Entertainment team works on choreography in Florida, records music in London, and oversees float construction across the U.S., guests can now get a sneak peek at some magical details.
Official ‘Disney Starlight’ Poster Revealed
The newly unveiled official poster for Disney Starlight beautifully captures the parade’s enchanting blend of classic Disney nostalgia and modern storytelling. This vibrant design will soon join the iconic artwork displayed beneath the Main Street, U.S.A. train station.
Sharp-eyed fans may even notice a few beloved Disney characters on the poster that haven’t been previously announced — hinting at some exciting surprises to come!
New Coco Float Brings Music and Color to the Parade
Disney Starlight will go un poco loco with an all-new Coco float inspired by the hit Pixar film. The float will feature a towering, larger-than-life Pepita with majestic wings spread wide above the parade route. Below, Miguel will serenade guests from the foot of a glowing marigold bridge leading to the Land of the Dead, complete with dazzling sugar skull fireworks.
This vibrant and colorful float promises to be a visual and musical highlight guests won’t want to miss.
More Magical Floats and Special Surprises
Beyond the Coco float, Disney Starlight is packed with magical moments and memorable characters.
- The Opening Float: The parade will begin with the enchanting Blue Fairy, whose glowing wand will feature a shining star inspired by the famous “first star you’ll see tonight.” Guests will be invited to make a wish upon this special star as the parade begins.
- Peter Pan, Wendy, and Elsa will each appear on their own dedicated floats.
- The Encanto Float: Isabela will swing gracefully on floral vines alongside her fellow Madrigal family members in a stunning tribute to Encanto.
- The Moana Float: Featuring glowing waves, this float will include Moana, along with Pua, HeiHei, and a manta ray symbolizing Gramma Tala.
- The Princess Float: Inspired by Disney Legend Mary Blair’s artistic style, this float will showcase iconic couples like Aurora and Prince Phillip, Tiana and Prince Naveen, Belle and the Beast, and Cinderella and Prince Charming. The royal court dancers — a nod to the classic Main Street Electrical Parade — will accompany this majestic display.
And that’s just the beginning! More magical details about Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away will be revealed soon.
