After spending the summer season in Europe, the Disney Dream is set to unveil some exciting updates when it docks at its home port in Fort Lauderdale this fall. The enhancements include a revamped Oceaneer Club, a new funnel suite, an expanded concierge lounge, and an upgraded spa. Let's take a closer look at what's in store for the Disney Dream!
Renovated Youth Spaces
The Oceaneer Club will be transformed with the addition of a state-of-the-art lab created by the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB). Kids can participate in the Marvel WEB Workshop, testing new suit prototypes and engaging in training simulations using WEB technology. Plus, Avengers mentors will make appearances to check on the progress of the young recruits.
The tween club Edge will relocate to Deck 5 and introduce new features such as an outdoor deck with a ball pit and games exclusive to Edge and Vibe guests. Additionally, a club lounge and dance floor will provide the perfect setting for unforgettable parties with new friends.
Fantastical Funnel Suite
The forward funnel of the Disney Dream will be reimagined as the Dream Tower Suite, themed after the classic Walt Disney Animation Studios film "Fantasia" and its beloved sequence, "The Sorcerer's Apprentice." This two-story suite will feature gilded details reflecting the Disney Dream's art deco motif, immersing guests in Sorcerer Mickey's magic with celestial-inspired surroundings and a chandelier reminiscent of his famous control of the waves.
Concierge Lounge Inspired by "Hercules"
Concierge guests will be treated to an expanded lounge inspired by Disney's "Hercules" and the heavenly Mount Olympus. The ethereal space will feature light, airy details and rich colors evoking the clouds of Mount Olympus, with hints of bright gold reminiscent of the gates to the kingdom of the gods.
Enhanced Spa and Dining Options
The spa will undergo updates to include a refreshed check-in area and additional treatment rooms. On Deck 11, a new cantina will join the quick service dining options, offering a delectable selection of tacos, burritos, and bowls.
