Celebrate Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month at Disney World

Two women joyfully dancing at a Disney celebration, one dressed as Mirabel from "Encanto," capturing the spirit of Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month.

Walt Disney World Resort is adding some extra magia this season to celebrate Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month, offering five new and returning experiences for guests and their families to join in the fiesta.

From September 15 to October 15, the celebration will be in full swing with lively música to get guests dancing and singing, delicious food and drink options that offer a taste of their cultura, and much more.

As we count down to the festivities, here’s what we’re most excited about:

Dance with the Madrigal Family

It’s official! The limited-time ¡Celebración Encanto! sing-along show has been extended, allowing guests to dance, sing, and celebrate with the wonderful Madrigal family at the CommuniCore Plaza Stage. Featuring beloved characters and songs from the film, along with fun trivia to test your Encanto knowledge, this show runs several times a day at EPCOT. Perfect for friends and families, and you might even spot Bruno or Mirabel joining in the fun!

A Unique Mariachi Experience

The enchanting sounds of traditional Mariachi music will fill EPCOT starting September 15! Mariachi Cobre will perform on select days, offering a special, limited-time experience. A familiar friend might even make a surprise appearance, so keep your eyes open! ¡Qué emoción!

Art Comes to Life

Hispanic and Latin American cultures are rich in diverse artistic traditions. Here’s how Walt Disney World is honoring these vibrant customs:

- At Disney Springs, the Art Walk continues to bloom with a new mural by Nicole Salgar, a Miami-based artist whose work reflects her Latin roots. With a flair for blending sci-fi and folk art, her murals challenge viewers’ perspectives and inspire curiosity. Don’t miss it!

- At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, guests can learn to draw Dante from Pixar's “Coco” and meet Hispanic Pixar animator Ana Ramirez at The Animation Experience at Conservation Station.

- Art lovers can visit Art of Disney at EPCOT to explore paintings, limited-edition prints, figurines, and more, featuring works by Hispanic and Latin American artists. This year’s Artist Spotlights will include Pixar talents like Gaston Ugarte, Ana Lacaze, and Luis Uribe.

Celebrate with Music!

No celebración is complete without music! This year, during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE, the America Gardens Theatre stage will host three iconic Latin artists and a popular local Latin band during the Eat to the Beat Concert Series presented by Florida Blue. Don’t miss:

- Luis Figueroa – September 27
- Mau Y Ricky – September 28-29
- Jesse & Joy – September 30
- Latin Ambition – October 1-3

Guests can also purchase an Eat to the Beat Dining Package for a delicious meal at a select EPCOT restaurant and reserved seating at the shows.

Food for the Soul

Are you ready to enjoy flavors that evoke the nostalgia of home? This year’s EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will feature over 30 Global Marketplaces throughout the park, showcasing a variety of Hispanic and Latin dishes. ¡Son muy deliciosos!

The celebration doesn't end there. Guests can find tasty treats throughout Walt Disney World theme parks and Disney Resort Collection hotels. While the official Foodie Guide to Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month is on its way, here’s a sneak peek: fan favorites like the Encanto Cupcake at Pizzafari and Restaurantosaurus at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and the Pollo Guisado at select locations such as the End Zone Food Court at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, are making a return this year. The Foodie Guide is a must-read!

This is just the beginning of the celebration—get ready for an unforgettable experience!
