2023 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival Must Do’s

A vibrant display with colorful decorations and flowers, featuring tall figures, marking a food and wine festival at an outdoor venue.

Are you ready to explore the 2023 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE? The festival is going on right now through Nov. 18th at Walt Disney World, and it's definitely an event you won't want to miss. Make sure to pack your Festival Passport and get ready to taste some innovative eats (a Pickle Milkshake!), check out festival merchandise, and enjoy the entertainment lineup.

The pickle milkshake with whipped cream and a straw

If you're a foodie, then you can't miss out on the culinary creations at the Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey! Guests are raving about the non-alcoholic Pickle Milkshake - it's a unique and tasty treat that only the motley Muppet crew could dream up. And if you're looking for something plant-based, the IMPOSSIBLE Buffalo Chicken Tenders and Buffalo Brussels Sprouts are a must-try. But that's not all - there are plenty of delicious options at other Global Marketplaces too, like the Falafel Pita at Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina, the IMPOSSIBLE Burger Slider with wasabi cream and spicy Asian slaw at Flavors from Fire, and the Guava Cake at Shimmering Sips hosted by CORKCICLE.

And did you know that there are now more than 25 Global Marketplaces to explore? Four brand new locations have just opened, where you can indulge in savory bites at Char & Chop, pair wine with artisanal cheeses at Wine & Wedge, or snack on champagne and seafood at Bubbles & Brine. Don't forget to stop by Swirled Showcase for some soft-serve ice cream and refreshing sips like the Frozen Apple Pie.

Do you remember that Pickle Milkshake? Well, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant, Beaker, from Muppet Labs have been working hard to bring some whimsy your way. They've created a creatively chaotic, taste-testing experience at the Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey! You can sample a variety of wings like the Peanut Butter and Jelly Sticky Wings, and enjoy an array of beers and ciders. And while you're there, you must try the Frozen Fusion featuring Twinings Pomegranate and Raspberry Herbal Tea infused with orange ice cream molecules.

This Muppet makeover to our iconic Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey, a staple for the last several years at the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE, is sure to exceed your expectations. And after a day of snacking and sipping, you'll still have a selection of other experiences to enjoy on a full stomach.

If you're a pin collector, a Figment fan, or an Annual Passholder, then you're in luck! There are four new festival merchandise collections available for you to browse. You'll be able to shop the Festival Event Logo Collection, which features a Loungefly Backpack inspired by Spaceship Earth and a stemless wine cup by CORKCICLE. You can also check out the Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse Picnic Collection, which includes contributions by Dooney & Bourke. If you're looking for something more home-inspired, you might like the Disney "Encanto" Collection. And last but not least, the Figment Annual Passholder Collection is also available! No matter what your preferences are, there's something for everyone in this lineup.

A woman and a man dance to live music on stage.

If you love live music, you won't want to miss the Eat to the Beat Concert Series presented by Florida Blue Medicare. From July 27 to Nov. 13, you can enjoy performances by local bands and well-known acts like Funkafied, Phillip Phillips, Boyz II Men, Sugar Ray and many more. There are three showtimes each night at 5:30 PM, 6:45 PM and 8:00 PM, so make sure to arrive early at the America Gardens Theatre at the American Adventure Pavilion to secure a spot. Alternatively, you can guarantee seating with the Eat to the Beat Dining Package, which lets you enjoy a fine dining experience at one of the participating restaurants before the show. Note that this package is only available Fridays through Mondays, but on Tuesdays through Thursdays, you can still enjoy performances by local acts.

A statue of Remy and garlic overlooks a family at EPCOT.

If you're looking for more family fun, we have a couple of festival-inspired scavenger hunts that you might want to try. Remy's Ratatouille Hide & Squeak is a savory scavenger hunt around the World Showcase where you can find hidden statuettes of Remy. On the other hand, with Emile's Fromage Montage, you can sample tasty cheeses from around the world while collecting stamps on your Festival Passport. Lastly, Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit sends guests throughout the park looking for hidden decorative pumpkins themed to Disney characters.

Each of these scavenger hunts ends with a unique surprise, so don't forget to check the Festival Passport for details on where to purchase maps or game boards to start off these adventures and where to redeem them for a prize. Please note that Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit runs from Sept. 29 to Oct. 31, while the other two experiences are available from July 27 while supplies last. Have a great time!
