Exciting news for fans of Princess Tiana! Tiana's Palace restaurant is set to open its doors on September 7, 2023, in Disneyland Park. This quick-service style restaurant is based on the one Princess Tiana created in the beloved film "The Princess and the Frog," and it's part of a larger effort to bring more of Tiana's stories to life in New Orleans Square. Last year, Eudora's Chic Boutique featuring Tiana's Gourmet Secrets was launched, and in 2024, Tiana's Bayou Adventure attraction will open.

The restaurant is designed to pay homage to Tiana's rich past in New Orleans, with elegant and subtle details that capture the essence of Mardi Gras. Guests can enjoy their meals at yellow tabletops, on warm vanilla-colored chairs with green seats while relaxing in the shade of yellow and green umbrellas. The interior of the restaurant features a large mural of the bayou and other references to Tiana's story, such as lilies, frog porcelains, cookbooks, and a childhood photo of Tiana.

Interestingly, the design of Tiana's Palace was inspired by the French Market Restaurant, the former restaurant in this space in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park. Disney Imagineers added a wheelhouse and two smokestacks to create the iconic silhouette of Tiana's Palace, further elevating the dining experience.

The restaurant will offer new menu items that represent Tiana's story and honor the flavors and flair of New Orleans. Some ingredients will even be sourced directly from the state of Louisiana when possible. Guests can easily order these new dishes on the Disneyland app when the location opens. It's an exciting time for Tiana's fans!
