Now Open! Pixar Place Hotel at Disneyland Resort
January 30, 2024, marks the grand opening celebration of the Pixar Place Hotel at Disneyland Resort, the inaugural fully Pixar-themed hotel in the United States! Reflecting the creativity and innovative storytelling of Pixar Animation Studios, this 479-room establishment pays homage to beloved films like "Toy Story," "Ratatouille," and "Elemental," featuring nods to every Pixar feature film to date.

Visitors to Pixar Place Hotel will encounter familiar Pixar characters reimagined through various forms of playful artwork, contemporary decor, and surprise appearances!
The hotel's opening day dedication saw special guests like Lightning McQueen, Mater, and other Pixar pals joining Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock and Pixar Animation Studios Chief Creative Officer Pete Docter. Potrock emphasized the commitment to expanding Disneyland Resort, showcasing how Pixar Place Hotel exemplifies the creation of high-quality guest experiences immersed in popular stories.
Docter, renowned for directing Oscar-winning films such as "Monsters, Inc.," "Up," and "Inside Out," expressed the exciting collaboration between Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering in bringing cherished stories to life within Disney parks. He praised Pixar Place Hotel as an immersive world of Pixar, a testament to the successful partnership with Walt Disney Imagineering.

The hotel introduces new characters, including Bing Bong from "Inside Out," making his worldwide debut, and Joe Gardner from "Soul," playing piano near the lobby staircase. These additions contribute to the immersive experience of Pixar Place Hotel.

Diverse Pixar-themed spaces await exploration at the hotel. The lobby showcases giant portraits of characters like Sulley from "Monsters, Inc." and Merida from "Brave," portraying pivotal moments in their journeys. The iconic Pixar Ball and Lamp greet guests at the entrance, while the rear entrance displays character design development stages.

Great Maple, the flagship restaurant, offers a menu using top-notch seasonal ingredients, featuring dishes like Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Maple Bacon Donuts. The Sketch Pad Café, adjacent to the lobby, serves pastries and grab-n-go items, adorned with a timeline of Pixar films.
The third-floor rooftop deck presents the Pixar Shorts Court, where families can enjoy games inspired by shorts like "Bao" and "For The Birds." Small Bytes, opening in March, will offer inventive floats and bites, surrounded by pixel-art style portraits of Pixar characters.

The pool area features a "Finding Nemo"-themed splash pad, Crush's Surfin' Slide, and Pixel Pool. Each floor's mural outside the elevator banks pays homage to a different Pixar film.

Guest rooms incorporate Pixar touches, from headboards featuring concept art to accent pillows with a Pixar Ball motif. Additional amenities include a fitness center, the STOR-E retail shop, and the upcoming Creators Club lounge for concierge-level guests.
Later in 2024, two new 2-bedroom themed signature suites, the Coco Suite and the Incredibles Suite, will be available. Pixar Place Hotel guests can enjoy benefits like early entry to select attractions and a dedicated entrance to Disney California Adventure Park.*
This marks just the beginning of a magical journey. "To infinity... and beyond!"
*Each day a designated Theme Park will be open early. Each registered hotel guest (age 3 and older) must have valid park admission, park reservation, and hotel room key card for early entry park admission. Applicable theme park, days and times of operation, and attractions, experiences, and offerings for the early entry benefit may vary, be subject to availability, capacity, change and cancellation without notice, and are not guaranteed.
