Grand Avenue Changes Begin May 10 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Exciting transformations are on the horizon at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with new adventures featuring monsters, mermaids, villains, and more. Among the most anticipated additions is the Monsters, Inc.-themed land, and fresh details have been revealed about its construction timeline.
Progress walls for the new land will begin appearing before the end of March, marking the start of the transformation. As part of these changes, Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano will serve its final guests on May 10.
Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo will remain open a little longer, giving fans a five-month farewell before their final curtain call on June 7.
While these changes bring a bittersweet goodbye, the magic of the Muppets isn’t disappearing! Disney is actively exploring ways to preserve the Muppet*Vision 3D film and other elements for future generations. Plus, Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the gang are moving to a new home on Sunset Boulevard, with more details on that transition coming soon.
