Discover the Enchanting Expansion of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion
Prepare for a spirited journey as Disneyland Park unveils exciting updates to the Haunted Mansion and its surrounding grounds in New Orleans Square. Fans of this iconic attraction will delight in the new details and enhancements now open to explore.
A Charming New Magnolia Park
Magnolia Park, now open between Tiana’s Palace and the Haunted Mansion, offers a serene escape. Shaded by majestic oak and ficus trees, this elegant space is perfect for enjoying a treat like a Mickey-shaped beignet from Mint Julep Bar or taking in live entertainment.
The Expanded Haunted Mansion Grounds
Just beyond the gates of the Haunted Mansion, visitors can explore the newly expanded grounds, brimming with hauntingly beautiful details.
- Familiar Features: Guests may recognize the Spanish fountain, once part of Magnolia Park, now featured in the queue’s redesigned entrance.
- Enchanted Guardians: Keep an eye out for the stately ravens guarding the grounds and a crouching cat statue hidden among the grasses, poised to leap.
- Master Gracey’s Garden Retreat: This tranquil space showcases a fountain adorned with a stormy sea maiden, an iron gazebo with intriguing artifacts, and hints of Master Gracey’s mysterious past.
- Madame Leota’s Mystical Garden: Radiating magical energy, this garden features enchanted statues, fortune-telling motifs, and a grand oak tree adorned with ornaments and chimes, seemingly under Leota’s spell.
- The Mansion Greenhouse: An ornate iron and glass structure, this greenhouse is where the mansion’s ghostly residents nurture unusual plants.
Accessibility and Operational Updates
The Haunted Mansion grounds now offer improved accessibility, with a main queue and entrance that accommodates mobility devices. After the ride, a new accessible elevator exit immerses guests in an extended storyline with Walt Disney Imagineering artwork.
Lightning Lane access has returned, and the virtual queue is no longer in use. The beloved Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay is in place, celebrating the season through early 2025.
Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond Shop
Set to open this winter, Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond shop will greet guests near the attraction’s exit.
- A Haunted History: Housed in a former carriage house, this boutique was once home to the mansion’s head caretaker before Madame Leota claimed it. The shop retains her unique touches, including a crystal ball, a fainting couch, and séance artifacts.
- Ghostly Treasures: Guests can browse Haunted Mansion and “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” merchandise, from collectibles and home décor to apparel and accessories. Seasonal surprises will ensure there’s always a reason to return.
Explore the expanded Haunted Mansion grounds today and uncover the supernatural stories waiting in every corner.
