Disney Marks America’s 250th with a Yearlong Celebration

In honor of the United States’ 250th anniversary, The Walt Disney Company is launching a sweeping new initiative titled “Disney Celebrating America.” Beginning on Veterans Day 2025 and continuing through the July 4, 2026, holiday weekend, this cross-platform tribute will spotlight the nation’s history, diversity, and enduring spirit.

A Tribute to the Past, Present, and Future

“Disney Celebrating America” brings together the company’s vast storytelling legacy to reflect on the nation's journey. Through immersive experiences and heartfelt tributes, Disney will highlight the people, places, and milestones that shape the American experience—all while supporting veterans, military families, and local communities.

With its roots deeply tied to the ideals of imagination, determination, and hope, Disney aims to inspire future generations while honoring the dreams that have defined the country for 250 years.

Nationwide Magic from Coast to Coast

Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort will lead the celebration with spectacular experiences throughout the year. A major highlight includes the Summer 2026 debut of Soarin’ Across America at Disney California Adventure and EPCOT. This special version of the beloved attraction will take guests on an awe-inspiring aerial tour across America’s iconic landmarks and natural wonders.

Fans of patriotic fireworks will enjoy an extended celebration of “Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky,” presented at both Disneyland and Magic Kingdom over three nights, July 3–5, 2026.

Honoring Veterans and Military Families

Disney’s longstanding support for the U.S. military will continue to shine throughout this celebration. Beginning in November 2025, Disney Experiences will introduce exclusive 2026 offers at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and aboard Disney Cruise Line for eligible service members and their families—an appreciation of their service and a heartfelt part of the semiquincentennial tribute.
