Camping in a tent and waking up to rainwater surrounding our floating mattresses, a rainy parade, fireworks viewed from the campground, and getting the Ninja Turtles to stamp the plastic brim of my Daisy Duck hat after playing at the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids playground. It may not sound like the perfect first vacation, but with my family, it was pure magic. I’ve told the story of that flooded tent countless times because it always leads back to the same truth — Disney is magical when you experience it with the people you love. From going as a child to taking your children elevates Disney to a whole new level. People often say kids see Disney differently but witnessing that joy firsthand completely changes how you experience it as a parent! |
