Accommodation Highlights

A Lakeside Retreat Inspired by Disney Storytelling

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is open along the shores of Bay Lake at Walt Disney World Resort. This Disney Vacation Club property features 967 rooms, blending the beauty of the natural world with the imagination of Disney storytelling. Earthy colors, natural materials, and immersive artwork bring to life beloved films including Bambi, Pocahontas, Brother Bear, Encanto, and Fantasia.

Inspired Accommodations & Modern Comfort

Guests can choose from a variety of thoughtfully themed accommodations. Inspired by Pocahontas, Encanto, Bambi, and Fantasia, each room offers its own distinctive atmosphere.

For a more secluded stay, Brother Bear-inspired Lake Houses feature freestanding A-frame designs, and the Hidden Willow Presidential Suite accommodates up to six guests with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer. Guests staying in the suite also have access to The Artist’s Nest concierge lounge.

Moonglade – Waterfront Dining

Moonglade is the resort’s signature lakefront table-service restaurant. With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Bay Lake and its cypress trees, the setting makes the most of the surrounding landscape. The menu features seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, while the restaurant’s lighting and design explore the interplay of light and shadow.

Proximity to Magic Kingdom & Nighttime Entertainment

Located in the Magic Kingdom Resort Area along the shores of Bay Lake, Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will offer convenient access to Magic Kingdom Park by complimentary water taxi. In the evening, guests can watch the Electrical Water Pageant cruise past the resort, weather permitting, as illuminated sea creatures glide across Bay Lake to classic Disney music. Dandelion Terrace will provide a picturesque setting for viewing both the pageant and the Magic Kingdom fireworks.

Pools & Water Recreation

The Wetlands is a lively hub for water-based fun. Lakeshore Lagoon features a spiral waterslide, while Daydream River offers a leisurely float along a winding course lined with palms. At Otter Springs, children can splash, slide, and play in a Pocahontas-inspired water play area. For a more relaxing experience, Cypress Point offers a leisure pool with views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks at night.

Resort Recreation

There is plenty to explore beyond the pools, including bicycle rentals, fishing excursions, jogging trails, playgrounds, Movies Under the Stars, and campfire activities with marshmallow roasting. Heron Shores offers a Pocahontas-inspired dry play area filled with climbing structures, while guests throughout the resort can watch the Electrical Water Pageant glide past on Bay Lake, weather permitting.

Dandelion Terrace & Disney Artwork

Dandelion Terrace provides a memorable setting for watching Magic Kingdom fireworks sparkle over Bay Lake. The lounge features a two-story gallery of archival Disney artwork, including pieces inspired by Fantasia, along with whimsical dandelion-inspired light fixtures. The lobby continues the resort’s storytelling with Pocahontas-inspired details, including an illuminated fiberoptic river flowing through the floor and a blown-glass “Colors of the Wind” sculpture made up of hundreds of suspended glass leaves.
