New “Disney Starlight” Parade Shines Bright at Magic Kingdom This Summer
A Sparkling New Nighttime Spectacle Arrives July 20
Walt Disney World Resort's Magic Kingdom is about to light up the night with “Disney Starlight: Dream The Night Away,” an enchanting new parade debuting July 20, 2025. Guests can enjoy a first glimpse of the magic through a preview poster soon appearing at the Magic Kingdom train station.
What Is “Disney Starlight” About?
“Disney Starlight” invites guests to step into the stories of beloved Disney characters through the Blue Fairy’s magical power. As dazzling lights leap from float to float, dreams and wishes come to life, bringing together favorite characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar films—some appearing for the first time in a Disney nighttime parade.
Created by Disney Live Entertainment, this vibrant procession builds on the legacy of iconic parades like “Main Street Electrical Parade” and “SpectroMagic.” With nostalgic touches and cutting-edge technology, “Disney Starlight” bridges cherished memories with bold new enchantment.

Characters Lighting Up the Night
From the moment the Blue Fairy waves her wand, the parade features an enchanting lineup of familiar faces, including:
-
The Blue Fairy
-
Peter Pan & Wendy
-
Asha
-
La Familia Madrigal (Mirabel, Isabela, Bruno)
-
Elsa
-
Aurora and Prince Phillip, Tiana and Prince Naveen, Belle and the Beast, Cinderella and Prince Charming
-
Miguel and Pepita
-
Moana
Glowing Gear and Parade Keepsakes
Guests can show off their sparkle with exclusive “Disney Starlight” merchandise. The collection includes logo tees, light-up Mickey Ears, collectible pins, cozy blankets, and bubble wands synced with the parade.
A Starry Treat for Sweet Tooths
Celebrate in delicious style with a limited-edition popcorn mix available only at the Main Street Confectionary. This dreamy blend features Bubble Gum and Blue Raspberry Candy Popcorn, M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Candies, mini marshmallows, and a white chocolate drizzle.
Floats That Tell Stories Through Light
Each float in “Disney Starlight” is a glowing stage on wheels. With technology like curved LED panels and pinpoint lighting effects, the parade transforms light into storytelling. Whether it’s the swirling magic of the Encanto float or the shimmering beauty of the Blue Fairy’s design, the result is a truly immersive experience.
A Magical Soundtrack Under the Stars
A custom score, composed just for “Disney Starlight,” evokes all the wonder of a parade under the stars. Classic Disney Parks melodies are cleverly woven into the original music, creating a rich, familiar atmosphere.
Lights, Music, Choreography!
Under the direction of choreographer Cindy Wilson, performers bring each scene to life with moves inspired by the films featured in the parade. Every step and light cue is precisely timed for a dazzling, seamless show.
As Show Director Tara Anderson says, “We need to touch every heart”—a mantra guiding the creative team behind every float, costume, and note.
Mark the Date
The countdown is on for the dreamiest night of the summer. Don’t miss the debut of “Disney Starlight” at Magic Kingdom—lighting up the night on July 20, 2025!
