Universal Destinations & Experiences has shared a closer look at the seven themed lands heading to Universal Kids Resort, a brand-new park designed specifically for families with young children, opening in Frisco, Texas in 2026.
The resort is built around beloved characters and iconic brands, with every corner imagined through the eyes of a kid. Here is a look at all seven lands and what to expect from each one.
Isle of Curiosity
The park's entry point is anything but ordinary. Isle of Curiosity sets the tone with a whimsical gateway full of spots to explore, plus a special meet-and-greet with Gabby from DreamWorks' Gabby's Dollhouse, complete with a dance party.
DreamWorks' Shrek's Swamp
Shrek has turned his swampy digs into a full-on ogre paradise for the whole family. Meet Shrek and Fiona, snap a photo in the onion carriage, and let kids loose in two interactive play areas: Shrek's Swamp Rompin' Stomp and Shrek's Swamp Splash & Smash.
DreamWorks' Puss in Boots Del Mar
The fearless Puss in Boots awaits, along with Mama Luna, Perrito, and friends. Try challenging carnival games like Barriles de Leche and El Gato's Meow for a feline adventure with plenty of flair.
Illumination's Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club
Yellow Minions versus Purple Minions, and it is as chaotic and soaking wet as it sounds. Jump into the action-packed competition or pull up a seat and watch the glorious mayhem unfold, complete with a Minions meet-and-greet and interactive play areas.
Jurassic World Adventure Camp
From meeting a newly hatched baby dinosaur to scaling the Lookout Towers for a Pteranodon's-eye view of the park, Jurassic World Adventure Camp delivers big thrills for guests of all ages.
DreamWorks' TrollsFest
The music is bumping and the glitter is flying in Troll Kingdom. Meet Poppy, Branch, and the whole Trolls gang at a glitter-filled meet-and-greet, then head to Poppy's Playland and Trolls Critter Crawl for some seriously good vibes.

The Universal Kids Resort Hotel, a colorfully themed 300-room on-site property, will serve as both the park's entrance and a relaxing retreat for families. Designed with kids and parents in mind, it brings the resort experience full circle without anyone having to go far.
