Halloween has made an unscheduled landing at Disney Springs, and Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is once again the place to catch it. The fan-favorite seasonal overlay has returned with ghostly décor, a fresh lineup of eerie eats and sinister sips, and just enough vintage Halloween flair to make the hangar feel delightfully haunted rather than downright alarming.

The Halloween takeover is available now through November 9, so travelers with a Disney Springs evening on the calendar have a limited window to investigate.

A Menu With a Taste for Mischief

Surrounded by kitschy 1940s Halloween decorations, visitors can dig into a menu packed with new savory bites, cocktails and a nonalcoholic option that looks like it may have escaped from a very stylish laboratory.

• Candelabra Eggs (New): Deviled eggs with crispy fried chicken, sweet-and-tart pepper sauce, and aji amarillo custard.
• Dark Forest Dip (New): Roasted mixed mushrooms, baby rainbow carrots, hummus, toasted pumpkin seed, and pita.
• Bone Kebabs (New): Pork and beef bone kebabs, prosciutto, creamy tomato sauce, and kataifi straws.
• Midnight Mayhem Popcorn Chicken (New): Crispy fried chicken, candied bacon, spiced walnuts, popcorn, and hot honey sauce.
• Skull of the Dead Dip (New): Barbacoa beef, cheddar sauce, spicy fried onion straws, and plantain chips.
• Ailen Invader Sliders: Crispy Nashville hot fried chicken, sliced provolone, dill pickle slices, cheddar-chive biscuit, and queen olives.
• Fright of the Espresso (New): Cold brew and pumpkin spice liqueur garnished with pumpkin spice; cold brew, Kahlúa liqueur, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur, and salted caramel syrup garnished with caramel popcorn; and cold brew, Kahlúa liqueur, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and toasted marshmallow syrup garnished with candy corn marshmallows.
• Skull and Sour (New): Jameson Irish Whiskey, Bols Peach Schnapps Liqueur, lemon juice, and pumpkin spice syrup, topped with green apple juice-filled pearls and gummy strands.
• Temple of Doom Margarita (New): Patrón Silver Tequila, Bols Blackberry Brandy, blackberry purée, habanero-lime syrup, and lime juice, topped with a black sugar rim, blackberries, and cherries.
• Midnight Relic (New): Tito’s Handmade Vodka, ube syrup, cream of coconut, lemon juice, and a pinch of edible glitter.
• Viper’s Nest (New): DOLE Pineapple Juice, white cranberry juice, green apple syrup, blue curaçao syrup, Sprite, and butterfly pea extract, topped with green apple juice-filled pearls and gummy candy.

Vintage Halloween Takes Over the Hangar

Jock’s collection of adventure memorabilia has picked up some seasonal company. Pumpkin scarecrows greet visitors at the entrance, including one piloting an airplane in a slightly spookier tribute to Jock Lindsey himself.

Inside, vintage lanterns give the bar a cozy glow while retro decorations turn every corner into a small Halloween discovery. A patch of jack-o’-lanterns flickers overhead, while a card-stock band of vintage Beistle-style black cats keeps watch from a far corner of the room. Their expressions suggest they know something. Naturally, they are not telling.

Keep an Eye on the Details

The Halloween decorations join Jock’s ever-growing trove of treasures from his high-flying adventures. Look high and to the right of the bar for the weathered “Bigelow’s Air Circus” banner, a nod to Disney’s 1991 film The Rocketeer. Another reference to the film may appear on a “South Seas Club” coaster during a visit.

Reggie, Jock’s pet boa constrictor, appears to be out on another expedition; the cage is empty once more. Retro blow molds with expressive faces light the route around the missing snake’s usual haunt, while 1940s-style tinsel garland zigzags in front of Jock’s treasures, including a banner marking his National Air Races win.

The Pilot Behind the Pumpkin Patch

Jock Lindsey is Indiana Jones’ barnstorming pilot, who arrived in Central Florida in 1938 while pursuing a mythology-based tip. The area’s natural springs caught his attention, and he bought waterfront property, settled in, and built an airplane hangar that became his home base: Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar.

The bar is filled with artifacts and references connected to Indiana Jones and the wider Society of Explorers and Adventurers, or S.E.A., universe. Those details hint that Jock was either a member of the society or closely tied to it, making the hangar a fitting gathering spot for adventurers, mysteries and the occasional suspiciously themed cocktail.
