Some Disneyland Resort favorites are preparing for a very welcome encore. In 2027, two nighttime spectaculars and one high-energy daytime parade will return, giving park days and evenings a familiar dose of sparkle.
A 2027 Reunion Tour Begins
Disneyland Resort has confirmed the return of three beloved entertainment offerings: a refreshed “Remember… Dreams Come True” at Disneyland park, an updated version of the original “World of Color” at Disney California Adventure park, and the “Magic Happens” parade at Disneyland park.
The two nighttime spectaculars return in February 2027, while the parade is scheduled to step back into the spotlight for summer 2027.
“Remember… Dreams Come True” Dreams Bigger
A refreshed version of “Remember… Dreams Come True” will light up Disneyland park beginning in February 2027. Sleeping Beauty Castle will once again be part of the canvas, joined by new projections at Rivers of America, the facade of “it’s a small world,” and along Main Street, U.S.A.
The show is set for nightly scheduled performances, pairing music and projections with fireworks on select evenings. It originally debuted during Disneyland Resort’s 50th anniversary, also known as The Happiest Homecoming on Earth.
With a vocal introduction by Broadway and film legend Julie Andrews, the spectacular follows the power of wishes and dreams through favorite Disney stories. Walt Disney’s dream of Disneyland also takes center stage through songs and familiar phrases from some of the park’s most popular attractions. Not a bad way to put a bow on a park day.
World of Color Returns to Its Roots
Disney California Adventure park will welcome an updated take on the original “World of Color” in February 2027. The nighttime spectacular will once again send water, light and music into the colorful worlds of Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios.
The journey includes The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Finding Nemo and Toy Story. Tying the show together is a musical score featuring a special arrangement of the 1960s television theme for Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color, originally composed by Richard B. and Robert M. Sherman.
“Magic Happens” Marches Back for Summer
Just in time for summer 2027, the “Magic Happens” parade will return to Disneyland park. Led by Mickey Mouse and pals, the daytime procession brings big floats, artistic costumes, imaginative music, dynamic performers and Disney characters back to the streets.
The parade blends contemporary and classic Disney storytelling, with moments inspired by Cinderella, The Sword in the Stone and Pixar’s Coco. Expect pumpkins becoming carriages, swords pulled from stones and the sort of cheerful pageantry that makes finding a curb spot feel like a strategic achievement.
