The villains are clocking in for another delightfully devious night shift. Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party returns to Disney California Adventure Park on select nights from August 18 through October 31, 2026, bringing treat trails, Halloween Time fun and a character lineup with serious scheme energy.
This separately ticketed, family-friendly after-hours party has tickets still available for select dates at the time of publication. This year, Yzma from Disney Animation’s The Emperor’s New Groove joins the wicked proceedings, while several familiar fiends make their return.
A New Lever-Puller in Grizzly Peak
Yzma will be stirring up mischievous mayhem in Grizzly Peak, presumably keeping a sharp eye out for any levers that seem even remotely pullable. The potion-minded villain is the newest addition to Oogie Boogie Bash’s treat trail character roster.
Returning villains include Syndrome from Disney and Pixar’s The Incredibles and Maleficent from Disney Animation’s Sleeping Beauty. Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas is back in Hollywood Land, while Ernesto de la Cruz from Pixar’s Coco can be found near the Hyperion Theater.
The Treat Trails Have a Rogues’ Gallery
The candy is certainly part of the assignment, but the villainous residents of the treat trails remain the main event. These characters can only be encountered at Disney California Adventure during Oogie Boogie Bash:
- Agatha Harkness in Avengers Campus
- Dr. Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb in Hollywood Land
- Hades from Disney Animation’s Hercules in Hollywood Land
- Judge Doom from Who Framed Roger Rabbit in Hollywood Land
Costumed Favorites Are Also on Patrol
Between treat trails, Halloween Time ride overlays and photo opportunities around the park, keep watch for additional characters in fall attire. Disney PhotoPass digital photos taken during the party include unlimited downloads, subject to the Disney PhotoPass Terms and Conditions.

- Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow dressed as the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus
- Pain, Panic and Megara from Disney Animation’s Hercules
- Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy from Disney’s Kingdom Hearts
- Select characters from Pixar’s Toy Story
- Edna Mode and Mr. Incredible from Pixar’s The Incredibles
- Black Panther, Spider-Man and Scarlet Witch
Haunted Mansion Spirits Take the Street
There is also a new reason to haunt the streets of California Adventure: “Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party.”
During the new street party, familiar Haunted Mansion moments begin to materialize, with swirling ballroom dancers, ominous gravediggers and a trio of hitchhiking ghosts gathering for a swinging wake. Silly spooks, ghoulish delight and questionable ghostly etiquette are all part of the atmosphere.

Tickets for each event date are limited, and costumes must follow Disney’s special event costume guidelines. Only select attractions, experiences, offerings and services are available during the party, and Lightning Lane access is not available.
