Halloween Time is not stopping at the park gates in 2026. From a Haunted Mansion-inspired lobby takeover to a towering Nightmare Before Christmas confection, the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort are bringing plenty of autumn mischief to check-in.

Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disneyland Hotel and Pixar Place Hotel each have their own seasonal personality, with décor, dining and activities available throughout the fall. Day visitors can enjoy many of the displays and dining options, while overnight guests unlock a few extra treats from the hotel playbook.

Monsters, Mansions and Lobby Lore

Pixar Place Hotel is getting downright monstrous with new seasonal artwork featuring Mike, Sulley, Boo and their friends from Disney and Pixar's Monsters, Inc. It is a fittingly playful stop for anyone whose ideal Halloween decor includes a little scream energy.

Meanwhile, Disneyland Hotel is summoning the spirits of the Haunted Mansion. Displays inspired by the attraction include the four doomed souls from the stretching room, plus menacing wrought-iron gates ready for a properly grim photo moment.

A Whole Lot of Sugar, Zero Ghosts of Leftovers

At Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, the pastry team has created a confectionery tribute to Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack Skellington, Sally and Zero gather on Spiral Hill alongside Oogie Boogie and the Mayor in a display that took more than 800 hours to create.

The ingredient list is almost as dramatic as the residents of Halloween Town: 140 pounds of fondant, 175 pounds of chocolate, 150 pounds of powdered sugar, 105 pounds of rice cereal and 38 pounds of marshmallows.

Near Goofy's Kitchen at Disneyland Hotel, a five-foot-tall Mickey Mouse pumpkin confection adds another sweet sight to the seasonal hotel circuit.

Character Meals Put on Their Fall Finest

Storytellers Cafe at Disney's Grand Californian serves breakfast and brunch at Mickey's Autumn Adventures, then shifts into Clarabelle's Enchanted Halloween Dinner in the evening. At Disneyland Hotel, Goofy's Kitchen Celebrates Halloween brings its seasonal flair to breakfast, brunch and dinner buffets.

Advance reservations are highly recommended for these character dining experiences. Seasonal bites also appear at other hotel dining locations, including The Sketch Pad Café at Pixar Place Hotel, GCH Craftsman Grill and the Great Hall Cart at Disney's Grand Californian.

The Overnight Guest Trick-or-Treat List

A stay at any Disneyland Resort hotel comes with proximity to the theme parks and Downtown Disney District, plus one complimentary Lightning Lane entry per registered guest for a Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction during the stay. Overnight guests also receive preferred access to hotel dining reservations and can charge eligible theme-park and Disneyland Resort hotel dining and shopping purchases to their room through the Disneyland app.

Other hotel-guest perks include character encounters on select days and complimentary activities such as movie nights, Learn to Draw and Washcloth Creation classes. Ask the Front Desk for the activity schedule during the stay.

Halloween Time adds a complimentary Treat Trail for Disneyland Resort hotel guests, with trick-or-treating and a wristband, goodie guide and treat bag available from the Front Desk. A professional pumpkin carver will hold demonstrations at Disneyland Hotel on select dates from Oct. 13 through Oct. 31, 2026. On select weekdays in October, hotel guests can decorate faux pumpkins at Disneyland Hotel and Pixar Place Hotel.

Not everything on the hotel schedule is seasonal: Joe Gardner from Pixar's Soul performs live jazz piano year-round at Pixar Place Hotel. The lobby alcove is framed by deep-purple walls featuring his fellow musicians from The Half Note.

A Candy Apple Scrub and a Fall Stay Deal

Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney's Grand Californian has seasonal salon services for Halloween-inspired hair, makeup and nail looks based on classic Disney characters. For a more relaxing detour, the Wicked to the Core foot treatment begins with a warm caramel-scented foot soak and continues with a candy apple sugar scrub. Treatments and salon services require an additional fee.

For stays of three nights or longer, a limited-time offer is now bookable with savings of up to 20% on select stays at Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Pixar Place Hotel and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel. The offer applies to visits from Oct. 11 through Dec. 18, 2026, and is subject to availability and restrictions.
